I too don't truly believe the rumor. But if Saudi walked in with 100m for Bruno and he was OK making the move, you immediately say yes.
It would be tough. It would be sad. United are going to be bad for a while. I would say 3 years at minimum before we are sniffing around top 6 again and that's only if we do everything right between now and then. I know he says he wants to stay and help the club get back to where it was but it's just not realistic given his age and the state of United.

Heaven starts in place of Shaw. Other than that it's the same lineup as the one that gave that rousing EL performance. I don't think there's a non-preseason United game I've ever been less interested in. Nevertheless here I am. I think I'm most interested in seeing Amorim's post game speech to the crowd but I doubt that the coverage will show it.

Referee blew the whistle for a phantom call. He thought Bayindir had control of the ball and the AV player kicked it out of his hands. That's not what happened.
But once the whistle was blown it's dead and even if you think it's not a foul you can't give the goal.

Funny to me how the entire story after Bayindir's blunder has been the officiating. It was a very bad call. And Villa should have been up 1-0. But I would have a lot more sympathy for them if they hadn't played like absolute dog **** first when playing 11v11 for the first 45 minutes and then when playing down a man immediately afterwards. You had .4 xG against possibly the worst EPL team for the last 3 months who had exactly nothing to play for.
And the funny thing is, they still could have qualified for the CL with a 0-0. Newcastle lost which means if they didn't need that Bayindir mistake to make CL. They just needed to defend and they couldn't even manage that.
