Because we have to use a pinch runner which doesn't look that much faster than Ty France, which means we need to be aggressive no matter where the ball is or who's on deck.

I can't imagine a situation where they thought Schneider had the wheels to score from first unless it was rolling around in the corner of the outfield

You still have to force it and make them pitch with bases loaded in a Game 3 of the WS.

for me it was how far Teo had to go to get to the ball. I thought Schneider would be a lot closer to home plate

Yes. He was only meat by a mile because the Dodgers played it perfectly. If anything was off, the timing, throws, tag, he was probably safe.

It wast even a thought in my mind he would be going home on that play with how hard the ball was hit, with 2 outs, and Vlad on deck.

There is a world of difference pitching to Vlad or IKF with the bases loaded than none on.
That send took the game out of Vlad's hands and put it in the hands of a guy cold off the bench coming from 1st.
