What a pitching performance by Klein. Insane that Yamamoto may pitch. Go Jays!

Well, you knew it wasn't happening for the Jays. I maintain that was on their manager. At least we can go to bed.

Did Klein pitch? The post game was all about Freeman and Ohtani. If they win, which I would hate, he's the MVP so far.

Freddie passed Altuve for go ahead postseason HRs with that one, too.

It was late so I may not have read it right but I saw a graphic last night that Freeman has 18 career walk-off hits (guess 19 now) that's the most among active players.

That's insane! Dude is nails

Probably the only Dodger I can respect.

Problem is how he got to the dodgers. He wanted to stay in Atl. They gave him a competitive offer. Supposedly, his agent never even took it to him. Only gave him the dodgers offer.

Not on Freeman. That's on his agent. Wonder what they paid him extra to make sure that the offer from ATL was not given?

I just can't let Freeman get off that easy. I understand they outsource all of this to their agents, but am I really to believe that Freeman just accepted the fact that Atlanta didn't give him an offer and he didn't even remotely question it? If so, that is a pretty pathetic excuse when you are making this kind of decision.

I wasn't saying it was freeman's fault. But there were surely shenanigans involved in his signing with La.

Seems to me like grasping at straws for a reason to hate on Freeman.

By all accounts Freeman is really good people. Always has a smile on his face and enjoys playing the game. Seems well liked both on and off the field. Hated to hear about his boy when he had those medical complications.

Hard to root against a good family guy who plays the game right. Just wish he wasn't wearing white and blue.

I haven't rooted for a Dodger since Jackie Robinson.

Don't root for him, but man watching Ohtani is something different.

I am in no way using hyperbole when I say this is nearly catastrophic

Want to come back and say I talked to a few folks and feel better about this.

It's a big loss - but Miller has a bigger role.

Sorry for jumping the gun a bit.

Luckily there was an 18-inning WS game to distract everyone and prevent total meltdown.

And it's worth pointing out that he wasn't let go or fired. He chose to leave for what I assume is a chance to branch out and run his own staff outside of the shadow of Miller.

I've seen and heard a lot people acting like the FO dropped the ball and it's an indictment on the FO and 'WTF are the Astros doing?' type comments.

Good coaches get hired elsewhere and I don't see this as anyone's fault.

Is Strom still on staff with the pirates?

No idea

Point being this was a personal choice he made. Not one the organization made for him.
