I thought I'd start a thread to keep track of Aggies going into the portal and transfers we acquire out of the portal.

Here is the first player I've seen announce his entry into the portal.

After the HC question was answered I started working on an ***official*** portal/roster tracked until I scrolled to double check we didn't have one. Maybe staff can add some asterisks to yours. I'll post what I had typed up.

Assume Sdao starts, GG and Sorrell return to their previous position, and TK to cf. From the bench, Farr/Royo available for inf positions and Binderup could dh or 1b at a sec level, but we won't make that a given. Jamal stays super utility for depth.

This still leaves major holes at:

Starting pitching
Corner OF x2 for depth
Middle inf
1B
DH

I'd like at least 1 more impact piece to upgrade the bullpen and catcher too because even without attrition these were weaknesses.

I'm curious who everyone is watching whether already in the portal and possibly in. Maybe some playing this weekend too.

Does Stewart have any eligibility left? Also Sdao is now on MLB.com's top draft prospects (113).

I also wonder how much of our recruiting class we lose, I saw Slawinski (63) and Hartshorn (106) on that MLB list. I know the MLB draft is a crap shoot but we need as many of our signees to make it to campus as we can this year.

Didn't he come from tu and C. Longley brought him over?

Has Longley officially been dismissed? Irony w him as while all complained of his piss poor hitting coach style, he was semi successful at tu and was their top recruiter I thought (per Schlossdongle days).

Does have power stuff (mid90s) but was always a project to be fair.

I would put Sorrell in CF. TK in RF probably. Sorrell runs well.

The Twitters were saying 102-104 at the time. Which I'm pretty sure was actually 94-96.

Not surprising. Most of Tobin's playing time was as a pinch runner. That does mean we need someone knew to hold the putting bucket.

Crites saw time in less than 5 games.

Maryland has two big additions we could use

SCOOP: Maryland first baseman Hollis Porter plans to enter the transfer portal on June 2.

Porter transferred to Maryland this past offseason and hit a team-high 21 home runs.

The 20-year-old is also eligible for the MLB Draft.

Honestly I thought Galloway was out of eligibility. Is there actually smoke Sdao isn't returning?

Still has a very high draft grade and not expected back, unfortunately.

Twitter thinks he goes pro and claim brauny agreed.

That's possible. I think it's going to depend on where he's drafted.
