Based on Haciopan's fielding issues, my guess is he plays 1B. He played 3B and 1B mostly for this summer's Cape Cod team but his 3B fielding % was not good.

FWIW Kendall Rogers said on the radio this morning that he thinks Weston Moss and Shane Sdao will likely be back. Those two, the transfer pitchers including the Baylor pitcher who will likely be the other weekend starter, the returnees, and the freshmen pitchers and we should be in good shape.
Would be a blessing, going to be nervous with Sdao through the draft.

I think that's pretty much what the previous poster was saying. He is currently viewed as a reliever by MLB teams, but if he wants to be viewed as a starter and drafted accordingly his best bet is to come back to school one more year to prove himself.85AustinAg said:That's not what Kendall said. The way the MLB draft works is different from others. They usually have come to terms on the phone before they actually draft the player so if they are selected that means the player has pretty much already agreed on an amount to sign for. Prager is an exception

We heard the same things. Right now Sdao is viewed as a reliever in the mlb. If he wanted to be seen as a front line starter he needed to come back and prove it to be drafted in the top rounds. That is where starters get drafted. Sdao wants to be drafted in the first two rounds and Kendall said relievers don't get drafted there.

As many of you know, my son-in-law pitched for Dallas Baptist and is now in the minors at the AAA level. I can assure you there is A TON of tampering every year, year 'round...and it ain't just Arkansas who is doing it.
