That seems really odd. Doesn't really match the form or size of other LaMadeline locations I've been to. Maybe it's a different corporate model for them ?

How is the coffee there? I never hear anybody talking about that place. I was looking for a good cup of coffee the other day because I'm sick of the automated machine coffee made with liquid coffee. I need to remember to go by there when I'm in the area of Jones Crossing.

For the right place, people will make it work. Texas Roadhouse parking is always slammed and we often have to park on the other side of Newks after circling once. But yet we and seemingly everyone else still goes.

People will actually go eat dinner there waiting for the 5 o'clock traffic to die down. It's the perfect location plus having the hospitals right there. It's going to be so busy.

I dunno man, the one off I-10 in the Inner Loop is in a strip mall and replaced an Arby's (the old drive through became outdoor seating).

I'm a sucker for anything that isn't starbucks. Polite IMO is far and away best in town (for reference). I'd put Lucky Goat probably slightly lower than POV. You'll get a quality cup but nothing that is going to blow your mind. It will be better than a dutch bros, and better than starbucks. But just looking forward to more things in this part of town as well.

LOVE Polite! Their space is the nicest to bring a laptop and work in (have not been in the new Harvest yet), and the coffee is the best.

Carney's owner owns the Kyle House and maybe a part of Polite. Polite was founded and is owned by a separate individual.

Ground has broken on the "gas station and deli" on West Villa Maria and Forestwood. The redevelopment of the Zip'N at College Avenue was a letdown, so unless they say it's a brand name store (Casey's, TXB, Circle K, 7-Eleven, QuikTrip) prepare to be disappointed.
