99% of your posts are complaining about something. You do realize basketball games and seasons have ups and downs right? You also must realize a majority of this team is very young and prone to make mistakes. Its a damn miracle to have the record they have and all you freaking do is little this thread.

Exactly. Not going to win them all against top level teams when our 1st and 3rd best players are injured and our three best shooters go 3-19.

I had so much hope for us hiring Sweeney away from Dallas as our DC but we are still doubling off three point shooters to protect the paint like it's 1999.

It's tiresome. And completely stupid. Only way it's worse is when Wemby is playing and our perimeter guys leave to help him and we get to watch teams drop threes on our heads.

So what is it? Is it strategy? Or are our players too dumb to understand not leaving shooters? And if so, at what point do you bench them for being too stupid to understand don't leave your man?

Please tell me at what age we should expect our guys to figure out ehat other players of similar age on other teams have figured out. At some point it's just a bull**** excuse for either crap coaching or players too dumb to understand the basics of defense that get taught in fourth grade rec basketball.

Agree. It is tiresome. It is exhausting.

We are 6-2 without our MVP candidate and 3rd best player and all you can do is bleed and cry. Shots don't always fall, especially when playing one of the better teams in the league and they are at full strength.

Spurs are on pace for 56 wins, despite missing significant amounts of time for our four most important players and haven't been completely healthy for one game so far this season.



Harper is playing really well.

Bryant is visibly developing.

Keldon completely changed his game.

We have a lot of positives to talk about for this team.

New face: C Luke Kornet
Victor Wembanyama hasn't played in more than two weeks while dealing with a calf strain. That has thrust Kornet into a key role, and the Spurs are 5-2 with Kornet starting at center. There's nothing flashy about Kornet (outside of the Kornet Kontest, of course), as he just sets good screens on offense while blocking shots on defense. That's all San Antonio needs until Wembanyama returns.

So apparently Giannis removed pretty much all references /images of the Bucks from his IG today. Just more fuel for the rumors he's going to ask for a trade "again"

Yeah, and they are just a .500 team when he plays, but he has missed 6 games, too.

Atlanta controls their pick this year and next year (Jrue trade to New Orleans, then the DJM and Queen trades) and then Portland controls their picks in 28-30 (Dame trade.)

Also, even if you clear out a bunch of salary (and they still have 3y83M of Myles Turner, 1y20M of Kuzma, 2y30M of Portis and you have to pay Dame $22M a year for the next 5 years for stretching him) you still are ****ed.

What a complete cluster.

Both rookies had a nice 2nd Quarter.

Spurs got Jaren Jackson into severe foul trouble with 4 first half fouls.

Barnes is hitting shots and Sochan is playing pretty well.

Yep. Spurs down 113-110 with 4 minutes to go and Fox reenters the game.

Kornet makes a bucket to make it 113-112. And on that play, Barnes set the screen and they doubled off on Fox, giving Barnes the path to the basket. When Edey rotated to take away the lane, he left Kornet open for the easy lay in. But Fox's gravity is what set up that play for Barnes/Kornet.

Then Fox gets the assist to Keldon's 3, then Fox scores the next 11 points for the Spurs to ice the game. So Fox was responsible for the last 14 points and during that time, Memphis only made 1 field goal.

Great win and showed why the Spurs got Fox.

This team has been pretty impressive while Wemby and Castle have been out. I don't feel like Wemby is going to have to come out and score 40 every night. We can get scoring from a lot of places.

Very impressive.

Spurs are 14-6 = 70%. That's a 57 win pace through 20 games and we haven't had a single game with Wemby+Castle+Fox+Harper all healthy at the same time.

I realize Wemby is our #1 option, but how amazing is he going to be as a freaking decoy. With Fox/Harper/Castle out, teams were just bullying us around him... but now we can either make them play us straight up and he gets his, or we use him to draw out the team and the paint and open it up for three of the best slashing guards there are.

Once we get healthy and the team gets a few games together, it's gonna be REAL hard to guard us, even with just mediocre shooting.
