Esp the yams and the cabbage.

They are open Tuesday-Saturday, 11-4. They have BBQ on Friday/Saturday.

My favorites are the fried chicken and every single kind of pork chop they make.

Today I tried Bee's Bahn Mi or Bee's Vietnamese Sandwich, not exactly sure what they're calling it. It's a food truck/trailer at Texas and Southwest Parkway in CS. In the parking lot with Mel's Barbershop (most important), Ace Hardware, Planet Fitness, and KFC.

I got the combination, absolutely fantastic. Next weekend I'll order the whole menu and take them home for the family to try. A guy and his son seemed to be running it, super nice people.

I've lived all over the world, and this was a real deal Banh Mi, in my opinion.

I haven't posted anything in the TexAgs forums in probably 10 years, I lurk, but it was so good I felt a need to say something. Really good.

Menu was posted a few months ago in this forum.

We went to Garpez today for the first time since they moved away from the gas station.
Food was not nearly as good of quality as it used to be.
Tortillas were store bought and not even grilled prior to making the taquito.
No coke products
Will not go back.

Tried Willie's tonight for the 1st time, won't be going back. Ordered catfish & shrimp with cole slaw. Got a top shelf marg. The marg was the worst I've ever had. The catfish was mushy. The cole slaw wasn't cold, so I was reluctant to eat more than a couple bites.

My wife ordered a shrimp po-boy & marg. Probably the worst Po-Boy she's ever had.

I have no clue how that place is in business, but there were plenty of plus-sized patrons stuffing their faces Sunday night.

Went to DeBaca for brunch today. Everything we had was really, really good. Stuffed burrito, the CHAD, and Tokyo Breakfast bowl, drinks and the best thing was the Blueberry Bread Pudding. It takes 15 minutes to make but well worth the wait. In the future we will order as we get close to finish dinner. Will try out the happy hour next and then a dinner during a non-game. Service was excellent.







Edit: Rusty was there enjoying a leisurely Sunday.

The first time we went there I ordered a side of slaw and the cashier told me they gave a small cup of slaw with all orders and he wouldn't recommend it as a full side. Dude was 100% correct. Some of the worst I have had.

Agree with the Willie's sentiment. Got the catfish once and it was rubbery and kinda sickly sweet. Won't go back.

I had the same catfish and shrimp basket the week before last and thought it was good. I've always enjoyed Willie's, other than their weird ordering procedure.

Smothered pork chops on Tuesdays

Fried chicken is good

Yams, okra gumbo, and other sides are good

BBQ on Friday and Saturday is usually pretty good.

They both have good food, depending on what you like. Shannon's dressing is amazing. I've had many good meals at both places. Just depends on what I'm in the mood for.

They both offer to-go so that helps

Went to Wings-n-More Express on Villa Maria yesterday. It was snatched! Staff was friendly, place was clean, and food hot and fresh! We had a great time. Best Wings-n-More in my opinion.

The flour tortillas are homemade and delicious but the corns are store bought.
