I think you had the Hot and Cheesy, my go to when I go. The Superman is excellent as well.

We had brunch at Another Broken Egg this morning. Loud and a little chaotic but absolutely delicious. I had the Louisiana Benedict and my shrimp were perfect. Our waiter, Luke, was phenomenal. Kind and patient with both of my kids, attentive but not annoying. Plenty of extra staff and management around to fix issues. Much much better than the last time we were there a couple years ago.

Has Whataburger just given up in College Station? Good and customer service is terrible, and no one seems to care. Wellborn has had issues forever, but now all locations have major quality issues

Rock Prairie is the only local one I'll go to, and even then it's not very often.

Hatch Green Chili double should be a permanent all time favorite on the menu and I don't care who knows it.

...but sadly, I know no Chicago PE exec would ever agree.

I don't go to Sonic or Whataburger anymore and they used to be my favs.

Sonic bc their milkshakes now stink.
WB bc their fries are always soggy and better options for breakfast tacos.

Their b'fast tacos always had broken hash brown patties in them. Pretty damn lazy if you ask me. I had the worst onion rings from the Wellborn Sonic the other day. Tons of breading that wasn't even cooked all the way.

Sonic hamburgers were never amazing, but they were decent and fairly consistent. A few years ago, they changed the pickles and maybe some other aspects and it's never been the same since. Can't stand them now.

IMO Sonic is good for a chili cheese coney and tots (and the drinks, of course) but the rest of the food is hit or miss.

My son and I went last night after reading this thread. It was decent. Had the potstickers which were excellent. Diablo and Oishi rolls, both of which were very good. Ordered a kung pao chicken, it was average at best, hardly any flavor and minimal heat, would not order it again.

My benchmark for sushi and rolls in town for years has been 40 tempura. I don't think Oishi's rolls were any better than 40 tempura. I'm glad we tried it out though, thanks for the recommendation.

Have you tried Margie's Bar and Grill? Top of the Hill and Margie's are my 1a and 1b of hamburgers. Not sure which is a and which is b.
