Anyone gone to KungFuNoodles?

It's cool we got a Bubba's. It's something new for us. ...but like almost everything else that comes in, it is just a chain restaurant after all... owned by Texas Roadhouse, which is based out of Kentucky.
what if I told you that you can get in line online beforehand?trouble said:
I want to go to Maria Mia's more but it's just too dang loud for the kids.
I loved the original Gringo's but I'm not waiting in line now.

Tried to go to Gringo's on a Thursday at 6:15 (in the summer even!) and over 45 minute estimate for a party of 3. Went to Maria Mia's instead and almost nobody there. Had great crawfish enchiladas as usual although my wife said her verdes enchiladas were a bit cool.
I personally don't get the Gringo's love but I'm glad they are doing well.
When it's just my wife and I, we usually eat at the bar. And I disagree about their food - I think their fajitas are pretty dang good. When we are with a crowd though, we always get on the list ahead of time and then you can time your arrival to not wait too long. The only time that has not worked out was one time when we had a party of 9 or 10, and they just don't have that many big tables. And, big tables tend to sit around and talk after they are done eating, so we eventually walked next door to Saltgrass after waiting an hour later than we originally thought it would be.MiMi said:KidDoc said:

I was at Gringos at that time too. I didn't get on the waitlist before heading there and was surprised at the crowd after driving by the Saltgrass and Walk-Ons parking lots that didn't look busy.
It was just my husband and me, so we walked past the busy waiting area and host stand and ate at the bar.

Or I can stay in Bryan with better texmex
If they ever open! I heard end of summer from a server from the Villa Maria location.LB12Diamond said:
Don Chente Mexican Seafood is in the same area as Gringos. Wonder if that will help out on the crowds once it opens.

New contender for my favorite wings in town - Angry Elephant.
Had them triple fried and tossed in tajin. Very good. I don't think that's on the menu but had seen an associate of mine order them like that before.

Haven't had them tossed in tajin (I don't even know what that is) but I concur overall. I went to Wings 'n More yesterday off Deacon because I had time to kill and I think it was the first time I've ever been there and not gotten wings and all I was thinking about was Angry Elephant triple fried wings that I was enlightened to courtesy of this thread.
It's pretty amazing how great their entire menu is overall for "bar food". I stopped in there last Sunday on my way home at 4 pm and noticed their brunch section.
Ended up getting a skillet and even that was very good.

Tried La Bougainvillea today. Holy crap that place is good.
Only open from 9:30-2 p.m. six days a week but if you like empanadas, meat pastelitos, etc. -- this is your spot. Impressive array of desserts too.

Is this place new?

Which Angry Elephant has a brunch? I've never seen anything about it on their menu.
