And fans are trash. It's game 7. Don't wait for the team to do something big to get loud. You have to bring it. Pitiful effort.

That was unfortunate, Bill Worrell

The Warriors stepped up their D tonight and looked like the more energetic team for the first time in a few games. And then we didn't adjust offensively or find another scoring options.

The team sucked tonight. They didn't earn it.

The team didn't show up, shame on the coach, shame on the players. They aren't the real deal

Seriously? That's our problem tonight? .... offense came out like hot garbage from minute 1

I know Green's trade value dropped this series, but they've got to find another home for him.

Package Sengun and green for Giannis

Have to wait for Giannis to request a trade. They aren't gonna accept a trade until he says he wants out. If that doesn't happen, then I fully expect Kevin Durant to be on this team next season.

Sengun is so damn soft. Definitely fine with packaging him and Jalen this offseason

Just need to find a team willing to take on $70 million a year for the two. Not landing a superstar with 4 Top 4 picks (love Amen though) and having to pay Green like he's almost one because the GM couldn't admit otherwise lest it reflect poorly on him isn't great.

No doubt. But fans sound like a mid season game.

Back to the coach. Apparently he's only effective when the Spurs coach calls and give him tips. He really thought GS would lose two in a row and just come out looking the same on offense and defense. Kerr brought some new looks and the Rockets were lost on defense. The frustration bled over and led to inept, passive offense. Kerr is clearly a far far better coach.

We need to do whatever okc does lol. They seem to nail every draft pick they ever make. Or trade for someone like sga

Good thing we've had the Astros. The Rockets and the Texans have consistently choked in the spotlight the last 20+ years.

Pathetic ass showing. Get Jalen Green outta town. That was Harden-esque by the entire team sans Amen Thompson tonight.

They traded away Sengun for two protected 1sts that never conveyed. They had some unreal hits with Dort, Joe, Wiggins in 2nd or UDFA and then got JDub and Chet in the same draft.

They just got insanely lucky with that PG13 trade.

You're right... Now that college sports have officially turned into professionals, I should have included them also.

What else this series showed, as well as his whole career, is that you need an alpha dog. Draymond is a piece of **** and purposely commits some of the most flagrant contact you possibly could. Get multiple techs and multiple flagrant in the same series, sometimes in the same game.. and gets to keep playing. Dylan Brooks should have been bruising people this whole series. Instead, from the start through the finish, Draymond and GS dictated the physicality and our players backed down. Senguin had some his worst footwork of he season because he was playing like a passive *****. Green got routinely run to half court because he refuses to step up in the moment. Team is tough on defense, but ultimately, too soft when it matters. Maybe it's youth. But I don't know if I want to find out. Go pick up someone that is going to DICTATE the physicality. It ain't Green.

Sure there is some luck involved but you don't nail the draft and trades like they have without some really amazing decision makers.

How many years is this now where the Rockets were * this * close to advancing in the playoffs only to lay an egg at the end?

-Trade Green (if you can, not much value)
-Let FVV walk (not worth 44 mill)
-Do whatever it takes to add 1 or 2 stars
-Only untouchable imo is Amen and maybe Sengun unless it's a trade for a star big to take his place

Not to go down the "moral victory" route, but I'm proud of the team. They showed fight and grew throughout the year. Still a piece away from truly contending, but this was a fun season to watch. Onwards and upwards from here

I'm just very casual fan and last night was the first I've watched of the Rockets all season.

With that said what I saw last night was a young team get outlasted by a veteran playoff experienced team. Rockets were absolutely gassed coming down the stretch and the Warriors just never let off the gas.

The good news is from my untrained eye Thompson looks like an absolute stud. Impressed by his raw skillset.

I have never felt like Green was the answer to our #1 option. With that being said, I am not crushed by the loss in the series. This was a team that has been putrid for years and is still so young and learning their way through this. They got the crap draw with Golden State but it was a great growth experience to have to play the fading dynasty. The next 4-6 years should be really fun.

Can't waste another second with Jalen Green taking any reps away from Amen Thompson.

Sengun allowed Podz to body him up last night with Draymond coming to help IF he could get him near the goal. He should be embarrassed.

That HAS to be Jalen's last game. 3 years of knowing he aint the guy is what it took for them to finally accept he's not the guy, right? That he's a net negative player and a anchor to a winning team. Please don't make us endure another year when we cleared DO have the guy in Amen Thompson.

I was against the Giannis pickup, but if they'll take Sengun and Jalen... and idk, maybe Jabari.. I do it.

Rather us go the Booker for Jalen, Sengun, Whitmore route. Go find a rim protector to split minutes with Adams, and let's go at it again.

This season was a step in the right direction and I would imagine that most of us would have been satisfied with a 2 seed in the West and a game 7 exit in the first round before the season started. Just suckes it is the Warriors again.

Make a few roster moves to find somebody that can put the ball in the basket and we should have a nice window in front of us.

I think it's simple with Jalen. Amen is your guy and he isn't a shooter so you need to surround him with guys who are. Jalen isn't that type of player. I'd move Jalen straight up for a Derrick White type.

I'm more bullish on Alpy. He's a Sabonis / Jokic kind of player. Those guys didn't really take off until 24 / 25. He knows what he needs to do (get stronger) but I think he has the mentality for it. He's also got a decent shooting motion so I expect that will improve as well. That said, if the Kings are looking to tear down I would absolutely look into a trade for Sabonis to get someone with more veteran presence.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I would jump into rush hour traffic if we ever traded for Sengun for Sabonis. Sabonis is 8 years older, makes TEN times what Sengun makes, similar production, and has won absolutely nothing. Hard pass.

What we need is someone who can create their own shot. Giannis is new-aged Shaq on offense, a generational defender, and by all accounts someone who actually cares about basketball. I just think getting him would be too high of a cost and alters the make-up of the team completely. Also, he can't create his own shot in crunch time.

KD is all-world still, but commands a billion dollars a year and even though his game translates well into advanced NBA age, the window would be two years max. I personally don't care if we win a ring next season or 10 years from now, just that it happens. I think the cost would be too high though since he's not a plus-defender and we'd surely be giving up some of those defensive pieces.

To me, I'd go for Devin Booker. Still in the middle of his prime, costs a lot, but he can get his own shot. Willing to do the dirty work, and PHX is already a dumpster fire. He's what we needed/hoped Jalen would be and the sample size for Jalen says he's not that guy.

Re-sign Steven Adams. Hope for a good spot in the lottery. Then go after a number 1 option on offense because right now, we don't have that. FVV got hot for a spell, but he's not that guy. Alpi is not that guy. Jalen obviously not that guy. Need a closer, and need one bad. Keep the bones of the defense in tact.

Should be an interesting offseason.
FrioAg 00
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Kerr shifted his better defensive assets to FVV, leaving Green covered mostly my Steph and Podz.

It's absolutely inexcusable that he only took 8 shots.

From the very first possession, when guarded by Steph, he immediately passed the ball.

I like the kid, but he doesn't have it in him to be a #1. His mental makeup is too passive.
