That's basically what we were paying Brooks. He is less proven but also has more upside. If he can develop into a legit 3 point shooter then he has a lot of value as a good rebounder and defender.

Tari will probably depend a lot on what extension the Rockets worked out with Durant. Can't be signed until August.

Finney-Smith is interesting. His defensive prowess is right up Udoka's alley. I'm nervous about the contract though given his age, and the fact he just turned down a little over 15 million from LA.
The Bari contract is a great move considering how our GM works.
Stone has set a clear pattern: He is willing to sign young guys to big/medium contracts based on potential. If the players don't reach that potential, he will dump them before it becomes a problem.
If Jabari doesn't improve as a player, this contract will be a useful trade piece in a couple of years. Many fans were not thrilled about Jalen's contract, but he was the central asset that brought back KD.
All that said, I'm hoping Jabari will have a massive year. I think playing next to (and learning from) KD will have a massive impact on his game. I'm actually much more positive about this contract than I was about Jalen's extension. Jabari has a much higher BBIQ and potential as a shooter compared to Jalen, and he still has ample room to grow without expecting miracles. His midrange game really took a leap last year and I expect a similar jump in his long distance shooting this upcoming year.

Okay, couldn't remember how MLE worked. Thought it was a 1 year deal but above mentions multi year so I thought maybe wasn't using it.

Looks like the 4th year is a mutual option with a trade kicker. 3 years from now he will be salary filler for a trade.

I'm hoping that splitting Adams and Clints minutes/games will keep both of them playing at a higher level for a few years. Clint was getting 20 minutes a game last year, it'll be closer to 10 for us.
