More nerves than hes ever had in his life. Golfers on every level leave it short in those situations. Tough to get so close then come up short. But this was lost 2 days ago, not today

We did this for three days. It's like we think we are playing stroke play, not match play. He has to know Lowry is going to make that putt.

So is Shane Lowery the most likable golfer in pro golf? Easily #1 if it's "play a round with anyone". Would've loved a comeback but watching him do "the coolest thing in golf" was just so much fun.

I used to think he's just the happy-go-lucky Irish lad you'd like to hang with but the more I've watched him, the less I like him. Too many times after he hits a bad shot, he turns around and yells at someone in the gallery and blames them.

Can anyone name another sport where if you withdraw, it counts as a tie?

It would be awesome if they changed the rule to where if a player can't play for any reason, it's either an L or the Captain has to fill in.

I'm sure Europe will take the "loss" as they pack the cup back on the plane ride home.
U.S. played great today…. Should have played better Friday and Saturday. It's a 3-day event, not a Sunday only event.
