Glad to see OU drop two of three to UT. Hopefully SC can take one or two from LSU. The gamecocks had a lead heading into the bottom of the 7th, but gave up the game tying run to send it to extras.

Up 5-3 now.

I'm liking the conference schedule, turns out with the exception of UF opening weekend, it's a little backloaded for the Ags!

South Carolina wins the series vs LSU.

At this point sip has 2 conference losses and everyone else has 3 or more, so the door is open for the Ags to make a run at the SEC championship.

Pretty tight standings with top 7 teams within one game. Need to keep the bats hot heading into this Georgia series.

Hoping Sidne and Grace are also ready to go. Making it through the LMU without 2 of your pitchers is one thing but getting a road sweep is going to take all of your weapons

Aggies drop to #3 in the RPI after playing some dogs over the last week. We knew it would happen.

This week Florida travels to Florida St.

What's better for the Aggies? Florida to win or Florida State? In theory you always want the teams you've beaten to win, and the Aggies have beaten both but have 2 losses to Florida.

RPI wise I don't think it matters.

I am rooting for Florida St to win every game they play. We swept them on the road resume wise non conference road wins against quality competition are tough to beat

Me, too. It was two weeks ago that they jumped 9 spots to move ahead of us. After we beat them twice at their place. Never can tell with the polls.

I noticed Mya was player of the week and not co-player. SEC has been doing that for awhile. Checked SEC site. Sure enough, not co-player this week, says even more about Mya's performance. Whilst there I read the writeup on the TN pitcher:

Pitcher of the Week

Tennessee's Karlyn Pickens, a junior right-hander from Weaverville, N.C., went 2-0 in the circle this past weekend to help the Lady Vols take the series at No. 2 Oklahoma, just the third team since 2006 to take a series in Norman. In her first outing on Friday, Pickens pitched 5.2 frames out of the bullpen, where she allowed one run on six hits and recorded six strikeouts. She then started the rubber match on Sunday, where she surrendered three runs on four hits with three walks and added another six strikeouts in the complete-game victory.

Note the amazing part "... just the third team since 2006 to take a series in Norman."
