Does Ketanji need an extra allocation of clerks as a backstop / reasonable accommodation?

Seems like the Court got plenty on its plate without the additional stresses of personnel issues.

Probably have to wait for the current crop of clerks to leave. After that you'll start getting a better picture. Justices might be talking to the press on background about it, but that'll be pretty selective at the moment. Clerks will start dropping bombs to get into articles and books pretty soon.

Truly an embarrassment to the Court. Not that she cares - she has the megaphone and she's going to scream through it for the next 35 years.

She creates an interesting problem for the CJ. She will only be allowed to author those opinions where there is an overwhelming majority - and that majority will not sign on to her opinions if they contain her normal drivel, so it will take longer to get her opinions released.

The saddest or frankly the most offensive part to these DEI selections by the Dems… there are many qualified, exceptionally talented and well rounded Black women who would be fantastically better in roles such as VP and SCOTUS justice.

I think it is more and more evident that to be a useful DEI hire for the Dems you have to lack a brain. They want someone they can completely control and someone not capable of their own thinking and self-direction.
