Well at least Walker didn't fall to the Eagles

So we should t take great O-lineman cuz we wasted their careers according to you? I'm not understanding your point?
Dallas needs playmakers…game changers…difference makers…
OL is not their most glaring need…with the #12 pick, you should be trying to address your most glaring need…a RB or a WR that takes pressure away from Lamb…or you look at a stud CB…
Fair opinion, but your point of wasting OL careers still makes no sense. Is Dallas not supposed to draft all pros when they're there to take?

This is a plug and play starter. This is not a bad pick.Cowboys first-rounder Tyler Booker allowed only one sack across 970 pass-blocking snaps in college.

During 2024 season, only had 6 blown blocks on 740 blocking plays – his blown block percentage of 0.8% was the 2nd-lowest in the SEC.
A small uptick in penalties this past season…

WR 2nd round, RB 3rd round???
No. I think we ignore WR at this point. I think we would have gone T Mac if he was there.
I think we are 100% locked into RB now. If our 2nd rounders are gone before we pick, we'll pivot to CB or BPA.
Zero chance of this.
Zero chance of RB? Schotty said from Day 1 he wants to run the football. Booker and a 2nd round RB makes perfect sense to me.

I'm looking at this as a 2+ year rebuild, not fully expecting to make noise this coming season. With that in mind, taking Booker and shoring up the OL makes sense. Get a stud RB in round 2, then another explosive playmaker next year.

I think people believed Golden's speed wasn't real, ie. didn't translate to the field and more his get off than pure top speed.

Booker doing an interview on Cowboys.com. They asked him who he looked up to as an offensive lineman and he immediately said Larry Allen.
Ok ok... Great answer.

Was never sold on Golden. Would have much rather taken Booker at 12 than him if we weren't gonna trade. I would have preferred Warren but understand why they went OL.
Now we if we don't go WR and RB in rounds 2 or 3 then I'm totally lost on the strategy
This is nothing new. The Eagles didn't revolutionize the game by building a team from the inside out. They just did it better than everybody else.Peter Klaven said:
The NFL is a copycat league....the Super Bowl was won/lost in the trenches so here you have it.

Take Tre Harris in the 2nd and Scattebo in the 3rd and I'm good

No way he's old enough to have seen Larry Allen play, but kid knows a thing or two about PR.
I just threw that out because he should be available. RB-by-committee regardless.shack009 said:TyHolden said:

Would love Harris. Someone better that Scattebo will be available in the 3rd

Name one white RB in the NFL minus McCaffrey.
