I second Bubba's. Waiter was attentive and prices are really good for what you get. A little slow with drinks (draft) but not too bad. I love the music video concept (always enjoyed that when we are there at different locations).

Went to Bubba's today with my wife and 92 YO mom (belated Mother's Day). Couldn't be more impressed. Food was great. Portions are huge. Service outstanding. Prices good.
Most definitely will return.
like open at 3pm....I posted it right at 2:30. Snooze is open to 3:30. We got there at 3:31 and decided not to chance it.Aggie@state.gov said:

He just needs to go to Denny's or IHOP or The Kettle if he wants breakfast all day.

Yeah. Just kind of a weird complaint. It's like being upset that a steakhouse isn't open at 6AM.

This board is full of plebs, they just made fun of me when I criticized H-E-B because they literally didn't understand what supermarkets are supposed to be like. (Why staff left all the comments up on the thread, no idea).TyHolden said:TXAG 05 said:maroon barchetta said:

Not complaining.
Brunch menus are usually different.
Not really- it is pretty loud. We actually enjoyed most of the music and they have videos showing with the music. I learned that my 26 year old had heard about the Money for Nothing video but never actually watched it haha.trouble said:
I love a good Monte Cristo.
How is the noise level in there? Does it seem like there's anywhere to sit that you can be positioned away from a TV?
We were there last night at about the same time (also saw the Money for Nothing music video). It was crazy busy, mostly because of a couple HUGE parties (20+) waiting to be seated.KidDoc said:Not really- it is pretty loud. You'll be hard pressed to find anything open after 10 pm that's not Taco Bell-tier. Even before COVID, your local options didn't go much beyond Applebee's.
Hard-pressed, not impossible.TyHolden said:PS3D said:TyHolden said:

Went to 1860 Italia. They are open to 11. Said they'd stay open until we left.
I've lived in almost every Texas city suburb and I can't remember a restaurant open past 11pm. Most bars even closed at midnight.
It's the only Tex-Mex place my partner and I go to. Good variety, consisently prepared....MyNameIsJeff said:Hermanos Marquez (formerly Mi Pueblito) is my go-to in Bryan/College Station now.Hornbeck said:

And shoutout to Robertson County, but Sargento's in Franklin is a very solid establishment with consistently good food and service.
