Great meal and trivia time at Plucker's last night- our family team walked away with $75 in gift cards! The Vampire killer free 5 wings I got from going to the Miss St game were a bit on the too spicy side for me so I'll likely go back down a notch to the parm garlic or some other 2 chili sauce.

Service was very good this time, we have had service problems with them in the past with bringing dessert out before the meal, cold wings, getting side dishes wrong, etc.

God how I miss Rudy's Mexican shrimp cocktail at El Vale. Had something similar on Padre and it brought back those happy memories.

Finally tried the 1802 Burger at Stella. (I've been mourning, don't judge me) It was absolutely perfect. And the fries mmmmmmmmm

Will definitely be back to Mojo Tortillas. Want to try it all. Started with #5 The Dirty South and a Puffy Taco Arrachera.

Both great and filling. Steak was Char-delicious. A few before and after photos below…

Best wing place in town…I like the Vampire Killer wings, but I like spice.

Right now we just have green but we will have red as well. With the tortillas and salsas from scratch we've been vacillating between favorite recipes because of all the different flavors on the various tacos.

We had a fantastic dinner at Madden's Casual Gourmet at the Phillips Event Center last night. It was a Wednesday night and it was almost empty but we were very impressed with the food, service, atmosphere, and view. We sat outside on the patio and it was just a really great experience.

Check their menu - lunch seems a lot more casual the dinner. But don't sleep on this place, it was terrific. We'll be back soon, and often!

We ordered too much food. I got the puffy taco with skirt steak and the queso loco (has chorizo, guac, and a green sauce). My friend got the puffy taco with carne guisada and the elote fries. Everything was fantastic. We agreed that we would be willing to pay an upcharge if given the option to put the queso loco on fries instead of chips, if that was ever an option. It would slap. Just an idea (that I would want credit for if it becomes a thing.)

Had lunch at Tanaka Ramen yesterday, hadn't been in awhile. Service was great, food was great, both apps and ramen. Sad that they never seem all that busy.

Had Mojo this morning! My daughter had a bean and cheese and said "I ate that up".

I had the El Camino. It was really good and I didn't finish it so I'll have more later this AM.

They do carry it, but definitely call and make sure they have it before you go! You can also get a tart at La Bodega.

We now only exclusively sell former Cafe Eccell faves the Strawberry Tart, Creme Brulee Cheescake and Key lime Pie at La Bodega. We no longer carry the tarts at Burger Mojo.

Went to Mojo Tortilla this morning. Got the bacon and egg and chorizo and egg. Was expecting more than 1 slice of bacon. The chorizo was good. Quality of food was good. Tortillas were large if you get a taco with several toppings. Won't be my everyday spot as it cost me $9.22 for two tacos and a drink. I'll make sure to remember to only get a drink when eating in where I can get a refill and not driving through.

My dad got the bacon, potato, and egg. He then went back and got the chorizo and egg. His chorizo was greasier than mine. The potato wedges look good.

Went to Mojo Taco for lunch. Was good if not a bit unusual. Probably won't order the puffy tacos again but will try the rest of the menu. Need to get the churros next time for sure.

I was there for lunch too! Everything was great, especially the arrachera (skirt steak), guacamole and refritos. Employees were very engaged and friendly. Definitely in my family's regular restaurant rotation.

I got the Dirty South breakfast taco. I had 1 bite and then went to answer the door. My dog loved the rest! Guess I'll have to try again. I did get a taste of the crema cheese on it and liked it. Agree that the tortillas were big. Also Pepsi products. Didn't like that.

Less than $3 a taco is pretty cheap. I don't think you can get a Whataburger taquito for that, and those are garbage.
