I have honestly never given a second thought to whether or not I eat asparagus based on a potential smell later. If it smells, it smells.

While I have you, I noticed on this forum before that you thought the burgers at Burger Mojo are small. I just wanted to address that.

When we opened they were 1/4 lb on a 4 inch bun. We were trying to keep them as low priced as possible, so that patties were the same weight as whataburger, which uses a 5 inch bun to make their flat patties appear like a bigger burger. We quickly found out that in this market our patties needed to be bigger. So, we went up to 6 oz., which obviously is 50% more. Our burgers are also smash burgers, which have a different texture, presentation and chew feel. You may give us another try! If you contact me direct your meal's on me!!

If you have a big appetite try the smash beast double at 12 oz! If you're on a budget try the Thrift Shop, which is the original 4oz.

I will hit Burger Mojo again. It's a perfect location when coming back from Aggie sporting events., but I am more of a taco guy anyway.

Appreciate it. For me this business thing I do is a marathon, not a sprint. If our businesses are to be well rooted I believe my efforts are well spent. Also, my businesses interact directly with the consumer obviously. Our staff are humans and make human error from time to time. If I engage with clientele it gives me a platform to correct error and ultimately please the consumer. Win win!

I think your burgers are the perfect size. I can eat it; other places with the huge burgers I just throw a bunch away because it is too much.

I appreciate that. We've put a lot of thought into every aspect. From making sure the meat to bread ratio is balanced with a 4 inch bun vs a 5 inch, to which pickle we use. Our pickles are twice the price of many competitors. We use thicker American cheese. Our beef is of the highest quality, smashed with care on a $15,000 griddle. Our fresh cut fries are properly purged of starch, par fried and final fried. It's not rocket science but it's definitely food science lol.

I might have had the small burger and not realized it was different than the others. I probably made a bad assumption that it was your standard patty size.

Does the price of the griddle effect the taste of the burger? Or more specifically, what can your griddle do that other griddles can't?

Great question. This griddle has a thicker plate and more BTU for better heat retention, and recovery. Consequently it makes for better texture, more even cooking and an all around better and more consistent product.
