Denver looking more and more like it is valuing health in the playoffs over playoff spot as Jokic and Murray sit out in a pretty big matchup.
Pretty great night for the Rockets. They win, the T-Wolves lose, the Nuggets lose, and the Grizzlies lose.
And the Spurs accidentally win despite doing everything possible to allow the Knicks back in the game in the third quarter. if the Rockets stay #2, they will likely play either the Clippers (welcome home, dummy) or the t-Wolves, although both of those teams are only 1 game behind Golden State for 6th. I'm sure the competition to finish 7th and not 8th will be brutal, as nobody wants to matchup with OKC in the first round. The Thunder are now +12.8 on scoring differential and has slipped ahead of Cleveland for best record in the NBA.
According to playoffstatus.com, in the last 3 days, the Rockets' chance of finishing #2 in the West has risen from 39% to 52%. They now have a 77% chance to finish either 2nd or 3rd.
I had to do a little homework on this one, but today is the first time the Rockets have gotten to 20 games over .500 during the regular season since March 28, 2019, when they reached 48-28. The starting 5 that night? Harden, Paul, Clint Capela, Eric Gordon and PJ Tucker.

No chance in hell we are getting a fair whistle against GS. Curry and Butler will get mountains of FTs on BS touch fouls while Draymond gets away with murder on the other end. I think it would be great if we could get "revenge" against them, but the NBA will never allow it. Only a team with a marquee superstar (jokic, luka, lebron, shai, or Ant) have a chance against the Warrior/refs.

I was in Miami a few weeks ago and caught a Heat game. They managed to lose to the Hornets in spectacular fashion. Old man next to me said he was a season ticket holder and goes to most of the games. Rockets up 20 through 3 quarters. SIX players in double-digits. Jalen Green has 11 rebounds in 31 minutes, which is like a normal NBA player having 60 rebounds.
My bad - I just turned it on and it has been nothing but sloppy by the Rockets - down to 11 - turning it off now.
