Rockets and Spurs are the two teams everyone consistently are talking about that make the "most sense" from an assets perspective and championship potential.


I think you have to consider OKC as well.

I don't really like any Spurs trades for Giannis.

I also think you need to include someone other than jock as the third player. Tari, Cam, etc. The team has no depth and they need to rebuild some of that

I was responding to the post above mine. I have no idea if any of those trades are feasible. We are gonna win less with Green as our #1 option than any of the others. He makes James Harden playoff performances look like Dream and MJ

Interesting we wouldn't be trading their best player Phoenix pick this year. Giannis is great but this doesn't seem to solve our biggest issue, which is shooting (at the line and 3's) and a backcourt player you can trust.

I think I've backpedaled a bit. If I can get Mitchell or Booker while only giving up Green, Eason or Jabari, and a couple of picks I'd go that route. We can't keep both Eason and Jabari beyond this year anyway and I simply don't believe in Jalen regardless of who he is paired with. I didn't care for him before the playoffs so his performance just solidified to me he's just a volume scorer and those are a dime a dozen.

Milwaukee would absolutely want that 25 pick. They don't own their own picks at all so they need to rebuild on the fly ASAP.

Also, their own pics are spread out all over the league so you can't really do a deal easily to give them their own pics

100%. Nobody will ever convince me otherwise. The league needed a new face of the Lakers with LeBron and AD almost done. The league had Cooper Flagg to offer to sweeten the deal for whoever could take care of the Lakers.

I called it the day of the trade. NBA orchestrated it all and promised Dallas the Cooper Flagg #1 pick to get them to go along with it.

Bet shooter there is probably Jase Richardson. but he's the same size as Reed Sheppard.

Jeremiah Fears might be someone to target, but he isn't an established shooter.

Tre Johnson and Kon Knueppel won't last that long.

Kasparas Jakucionis is a streaky shooter, but cooled way off down the stretch to drop his 3FG%. He's a good creator, but his defense is beyond awful.

Carter Bryant, Cedric Coward, Nique Clifford, and Rasheer Fleming are the D&3 guys, but more SFs (PF for Fleming)

The NBA loves their ratings. Doncic to L.A with LeBron was what they needed. Dallas was being a good sport

Clifford is your guy if you want someone NBA ready. Classic 3 and D win player. Demin will have the highest upside of guys likely available and could make for a fascinating all bigs lineup that could present matchup issues for opposing teams.

Well now all three Texas teams have taken cheated their way to the #1 pick at some point.

The Rockets tanked for Hakeem.
The Spurs, as confirmed by their then-Team President in the Athletic last week, tanked for Duncan
The Mavericks sold their soul to LA for Flagg.

It got the first 2 teams multiple titles. Mavs - it's your time to prove your worth.

Rigged BS...

I'm not to high on any of the players that might land at 10. It's probably best to trade the pick. Maybe we can get a decent return if we package Cam and Jock (salary filler) with it.
