*⃣Kevin Durant: ($54.7M, UFA 2026)
✍️Note: Durant is eligible to sign a two-year $122 million extension as of 7/6. If he waits 6-months, he can add an additional $2 million.
To Phoenix
*⃣Jalen Green ($33.3, $36 and $36 million, Player 2027)
✍️Note: 10% trade…
The Brooks likely bonus (reaching the 1st round) to unlikely is key in this trade.

Houston will aggregate contracts and as a result, the 2nd apron in 2025-26 gets triggered.
I would expect this trade gets expanded for Houston to avoid the first apron (they are currently taking… https://t.co/Kr8h8EE6ii

Who would want to break up a back court that features Beal and Green making a total of 87 million dollars. The Original Houston 1836 said:This should say "Nobody else is dumb enough to trade for Jalen Green"Guitarsoup said:REPORT — The Suns do not plan to trade Jalen Green, per @Gambo987. pic.twitter.com/ocUHyyBymB

So if Milwaukee asks for Sengun, Sheppherd, Eason, and two firsts…… do you do it?
Of course. But Milwaukee would ask for significantly more than that.Agador Spartacus said:

We need one "dog" as a bench player to take on the role of enforcer, defensive specialist, when the situation calls for it. Can be the third primary bench player.
He might be, salary adjusted, the worst player in the league.Frok said:
I didn't follow super closely this year but Jalen Green was certainly not a clutch star. Fantastic trade for the Rockets IMO

People get too caught up in scoring in a vacuum and potential. The idea that Jalen Green gives you 20 a game is meaningless. A G league team playing an 82 game schedule against NBA teams is going to have someone average 15 points per game. Maybe even more. They're going to lose every game be 40, but still have guys "giving you 15". Who cares.
KD and Rich Kleiman were hyped after the trade news was announced 👀🍿

It is agreed to in principle and can't be called in and finalized until July 6th.WES2006AG said:
Seems weird that the NBA lets these trades happen before the end of The Finals.

Gary Trent Jr immediately comes to mind for me. Shoots ~40% from three.FrioAg 00 said:
I like Brooks more than most people, but we already had the problem that Jabari needs to start over him and he's too valuable to play from the bench.
I really like a starting 5 of FVV, Amen, Jabari, KD and Sengun, with Adams and Eason being our first two off the bench.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker would also be a good fit
"I just ran all the math, post deal...the #Rockets got 10 guys on the roster, about $33.6 million under the the luxury tax, $41.6 million under the 1st apron..."
