It is already a big win if Cam Smith finds a way back to hitting at a respectable level. If we can find a spot for Paredes to play every day and Wesneski makes it back from surgery in good shape, it will be a colossal win.
I hope that any of our guys that have lingering issues make the choice to go the surgery route now and miss a few weeks early in the season rather than wait and hope it heals itself. That has not shown to work for anyone.

25 doubles, 22 HR's, and 73 RBI in 500 at-bats
only slugged .464 for the season
those are very good numbers, but not $35 MM per season numbers
perhaps not $30 MM per season numbers either

No, he is RH. I'm not sure where he saw he was a lefty and confused me too. But he is definitely RH.

Polanco has a history of being a good hitter. He was injured and playing poorly heading into FA last time.
