I never saw anything happen to Ojo, but she has been playing sparingly lately. Maybe she has a lingering issue, I sure hope not.Boozer92 said:
Great to get back to the ballpark today. Felt like a mid week was really needed after not playing over the weekend.
I noticed Peters was not there during intros but I think arrived later. OJo also showed up later on crutches. I wasn't able to catch the games this weekend because of a family medical situation but did something happen to her in Mizzou?

Softball deserves its own forum, agree?

Found this article about the golden ticket that Emiley got tonight. Wasn't sure exactly what it meant at the time. Smart marketing by the new league https://www.espn.com/olympics/story/_/id/44663307/athletes-unlimited-softball-league-ausl-college-draft-show-golden-ticket
Even smarter would be to play their games in college towns with top attendance numbers instead of big cities where they are an afterthought of pro offerings. Probably just me being greedy in wanting to go see games in town but they keep trying these pro leagues and they keep failing. UCLA, OU, Texas A&M and Florida would seem to be better suited to draw a crowd than 4 teams with no home traveling the country playing in Chicago, Wichita, Tuscaloosa, Round Rock, Salt Lake City, Lake Charles, Chattanooga, Omaha, and Rosemont.
I hope this version of pro ball makes it but seems unlikely. I will try to catch them in Round Rock when they come.

Coach Ford said on TexAgs this morning that Ojo is out for the rest of the season.
Makes total sense. I thought she was a senior, but then I had googled. I guess that is cached info, if you click on it, it is correct.Wooahhhh said:
Emiley is a Senior. Only graduated players are drafted into the league. It is a Summer only league. Another option is Japan's pro league, but I'm not sure when that occurs. There are other pro leagues in the US, but I'm not up to speed on them.

I was wondering if they'll have the Ags make up the game vs. Georgia to complete SEC Conference play; or do they use completed games in a season for tournament seeding?
