Bond is incredibly fast and has very good hands. He was hurt most of last year but definitely a top 3rd round guy. My only problem is can get the damn ball down the field?

I usually scout skill position players at random... Brashard Smith (RB - SMU) came across my desk during my lunch break and I gave him a look.

What do y'all think about this guy?

I really like the kid. If we somehow ended up with Hampton, I think Smith would be an amazing back to pair with him! He's a very North/South runner, has a bit more burst than Hampton, and sorta reminds me of Pollard in how he runs through leg contact that would trip up a lot of backs. He also appears to be an excellent pass catcher that has some very natural WR like skills with the ball in the air.

If we are talking about doubling up at RB this draft, I'd love to take this guy in the 5th if he sticks around that long.

I think he's intriguing. I believe he was a WR at Miami before transferring to SMU, so he probably still has an upward trajectory at the position.

Yes, would be great to pair w one of the more work horse type of guys like Hampton or Johnson.

I think there's a real chance we double up on either RB or DL because of how deep those positions are in this draft.

Since the Ponies are my second favorite team, I watched quite a few of their games and he was a Game changer. If he gets through a hole he's gone kinda like Jayden Blue who won't be available in the 3rd or 4th.

DLaw dropping a deuce on the way out

"Dallas is my home. I made my home there. My family lives there. I'm forever gonna be there. But, you know, I know for sure I'm not gonna win a Super Bowl there, so ... yeah."

And then Parsons calls him a clown followed by DLaw saying he should spend less time tweeting and more time winning.

What a great culture the Cowboys have…..

Not a good look from Tank. Guess he doesn't realize he was a big piece in those years we didn't win a Super Bowl.

Maybe, but it's trashy and completely uncalled for. Sounds like more sour grapes than anything. Especially when you're going to a team that's rebuilding.

Longest tenured Cowboy. He was a key part of not winning, so that's pretty much a bich move of a statement.

Not to mention, he went to the ****ing Seahawks. As if he's gonna win a SB there lol

Surely the Cowboys are drafting at least one RB in April because there's no way they are going to rely on a couple of old spare parts to handle the running game this season…right???

He was a key part of winning 12 games three years in a row. Solid. Wish we resigned him.

And say what you want about Dowdle, but he was nails in the last 8 games last year on a crappy team.

As a Hawks fan I gotta agree. We haven't been worth a damn since 2014. It's a bad look trashing your old team. That said I'm happy we landed a great player for our line. Hoping this new coach can find that magic Pete had 15 years ago.

Was a great player. Not much gas left in that tank

Agreed. Would have liked to have him back, but if you are Dallas, you gotta go cheaper/younger at that spot. Yet to be seen if Kneeland will ever be as good as Tank in his prime, but at the very least, Kneeland will (I think) give us similar production to 30+ year old Tank.

1 playoff sack since 2016 and the guy acts like he wasn't a big reason why the cowboys never had success in the playoffs. Parsons is spot on, it's a clown comment.

Cowboys "very interested" in Kupp

According to Scheffler they're working on a deal

Cooks soured me on older receivers, but after CD our WR corps is trash. They should take any help they can get

With the moves they've made in FA, I really think they are gearing up to take either an offensive weapon (WR/RB or Tyler Warren), or DE in the first round. The closer we get to the draft, I really wouldn't mind taking Warren in the first. He's probably a top 10 player in this draft, and even though a TE, you're still getting Dak an elite weapon.

Cooks is a smaller guy who always relied on long speed, which was dwindling as he aged. There's also a reason he was on something like his 5th team in 6 years.

Kupp is much more of a technician and I don't think he's lost his fastball as much as some think. He got hurt before the season started in 2023 which set him back, then Stafford just fell in love with Puka over the past couple years.

Why not spend our short term money on a guy who still has top-30 WR production potential?
Macarthur

Agree but he's also asking for $11-13m a year from what I've seen on Twitter. I'm not doing that.

I think it's extremely reasonable for an awesome WR2. Cowboys aren't going to spend it anywhere else, why not here?
shack009
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Sign Kupp and draft a RB in the first couple rounds and it will be much easier to believe Jerry/Stephen when they say they are doing what they can to help their first year HC who is an offensive guy.

idk. I'm not that convinced he's awesome anymore. Nagging injuries don't get better on his side of 30.
shack009

His injuries in 2022 and 2024 were high ankle sprains and a result of normal football stuff, nothing related to age.

He missed the first 5 games of 2023 with the hamstring but then played every game after that.

It isn't nothing, but it's not 5-alarm either.
gigem1223

I watched every Rams game this season. Kupp is still a great receiver. As already mentioned Stafford and McVay ran their offense thru Puka. They used Kupp as a decoy and also used him as a lead blocker a lot as well. He made plays when he had his opportunities. I think he'd be great addition.

I think if Jeanty is gone, and I expect he will be, and if McMillan is gone, I am going to say they go with corner in the first. Jahdae Barron or Will Johnson. DaRon Bland is approaching free agency. No telling when Diggs is coming back plus he's becoming ongoing injury concern. Also, if need be, he could be a cut candidate for next year. Corner in the first and get your feature back in the 2nd.
jr15aggie
How long do you want to ignore this user?
For me it comes down to what the Cowboys are willing to do with their cash. We freed up cap space and, to my knowledge, haven't used hardly any of it yet.

Who/what are they waiting for.? There are very few players left that could really help this team. Kupp might be a bit of a gamble, but since when is anything in business not at least a small gamble???

Make a move Jerry/Stephen... do SOMETHING to show you are at least trying!!!
Southlake

Kipp is a talented possession receiver. I'd like to see more speed to open up the middle for Lamb and possibly a good pass catching TE.

However. Both lines need help. NFC East is in beast mode with Philly and DC loading up.

I think I agree... if we are wiped out at 12 we take either CB or OT depending on who is/isn't available.

I'd also love to trade back, get another day 2 pick, and then take the RB Hampton. Maybe a tad early, but doubtful he falls to us at 44 so we gotta go early.

But there's a problem with that thought... there's only a handful of "gotta have him" players in this draft. I'm just not sure there will be anybody sitting there at 12 that some other team is so in love with that they are gonna give us a day 2 pick to move up.

The reality is, we are probably stuck at 12 and at the mercy of the 11 picks in front of us. Sure am glad Cooper Rush won 2 or 3 games we had no business winning!!!!
