Bunny Bites opened next to the Planet Fitness in CS. I think it was a coffee place before. Now it's a Boba Tea / Arcade place. Lots of neon lights.

What about the Red Lobster? Trudy's was supposed to be there, then that got dropped for a Tyler-based restaurant called Javi's, but I don't see that going anywhere either.

Veritas was there a very long time, by BCS restaurant standards. If you're thinking of "Boneheads" in the same strip, the idea and the execution were terrible. Hard to say if the rent did them in or…they did themselves in.

It's a great space, I hope something nice lands there soon.

Boneheads was fine, they had fish and rice and piri-piri sauce; the problem was it always seemed to be empty. Before them there was a coffee shop and a Ben & Jerry's.

I know where Grub is now was leased by Eccell originally but they gave it up after trying a few concepts. There was Boston's Pizza (now the Cajun place)...TGI Friday's which closed and got replaced with Willie's (Friday's was the better restaurant, but somehow despite being completely forgettable Willie's lives on)...and I think Blue Baker has been there for about 15+ years now.

I haven't, I haven't loved their other concepts around town, so I haven't bothered going to Kanji.

Kanji is much better than "their other concepts around town". Even if you are not a sushi fan, there are other options that are also very good.

You should check out Shogun. My sushi loving family members love the variety and quality. California rolls are around $6. And there is plenty of options for me since I'm not sushi fan.

they like bluefin, yummi yummi, and oishi the most. they love pf changs california rolls. I hate pf changs. it's like microwaved food now.
