The old Raspas el Payasito has reopened as El Rey del Taco. I feel like they have to be related because they took over the Google listing for Raspas and all their old reviews populate when you search under El Rey del Taco.

It was on TexAgs a while back, some sort of retail space (nothing specific) with restaurant space in front and office space above. Some posters apparently mistook the upper level cutaway plans for a separate building.

Coffee shop going in where the bank used to be at Mitchell/Welsh. Unfortunately it appears they're removing the drive-thru window.
I think Clean Juice in Century Square is closed. I walked by today and there was a letter about a health permit on the door, and it looked pretty empty inside. When I Google the location, it says permanently closed, and it's no longer listed on their website.
They would have to sell a LOT of juice to make that rent. I never did understand the thought process behind a juice place there.
Agreed. I always wonder about places like that - and the Varsity Grill - did anyone outside the proprietor ever look at the business plan and provide some input and criticism?
I only went one time and was surprised at their menu! They had several breakfast/brunch items that looked really good (avocado toast, eggs, etc.) The time I went, they had staffing (one employee) and supply issues (no strawberries)...perhaps that was their norm.
Does anyone else think a reasonably priced breakfast spot with a legit breakfast/brunch buffet on weekends would do well here?

That's going to be PJ's Coffee, opening May 23. They're changing the drive-thru. They took out the bank type of drive-thru but it looks like they put in a window (normal size like most fast food places use for a drive-thru window) and not sure what they are doing with the larger part, but you can see two spots (one small window size, the other bigger) that are not brick like the rest of that side

What is happening with the theatre/bowling alley complex at Midtown park in Bryan?
I heard that there was a delay caused by whatever the city is planning to do with the boardwalk construction around the lake there.
And there was the unknown swimming pool that all Bryan residents over 45 years old knew about but no one on this project did.
