Portillos regular hot dogs are just ok… the JUMBO dogs are freaking incredible and even better if you ask for them charred.

The italian beef sandwiches you'll either love or hate
Burgers aren't great but if you must get one add bacon.
They have a cheese sauce that will make anything taste better.
Nothing is cheap there so be prepared for the pricing.

Yeah, just saying that Javi, on that side of town, for sure will pull in the town folk. For me, Chuys just ain't the same after 2020-2021.

I would surmise that the land basis at the theater was put in at a much lower rate than what varsity's was. Furthermore, Varsity being a one off, it's fathomable that it was built and finished with much less value engineering that Bubba's. Bubba's very likely has their numbers/costs down to a science given that they've built so many. Lastly, Varsity is trying to sell FF&E/contents as a turnkey deal. The Bubba's offering is for real estate only.
