I hope that this is the right forum for this so here it goes: I am contemplating on writing a letter to Post Oak Mall management regarding several issues with the malls performance. Issues would stem from high vacancy rates, dated infrastructure, especially the exterior, a lack of variety and diversity of stores and entertainment venues and restaurants, and a lack of amenities. The intent of this letter would be just to gather information and a different perspective on what CBL properties wants to do with the mall, I'm not writing this letter to persuade management to spend money, nor to change their business model, I simply want to know where the company stands with the mall and if they have any plans to address the current issues. As the Bryan/College Station area continues to grow and expand and modernize in certain areas why can't the mall also? It is pretty sad how much potential has been wasted on the mall, and of course I hope to see it be revitalized as a premier destination for people that don't want to sweat nor freeze their butts off when shopping haha. I plan on sending this letter to local management first, and if I can't get anywhere with them, then I will send a slightly altered letter to corporate management and strive to receive an answer from the company.
