What exactly is the future of garment care?
Maybe they'll serve burgers and beer while you wait.
Too soon.

Not sure but my husband thought that the sign said 'gourmet cheese' and was looking forward to a cheese shop in town.
Spotted that today too... I really hope it's just a rename, Twisted Noodle was soo good and I loved watching them making the noodlesthreecatcorner said:
Twisted Noodle Cafe that was next to Subway on Southwest Parkway (pretty sure the actual address is Texas Ave. because that's the front of the shopping center) is gone, and there is a sign hanging up (looks like a temporary sign) that says Kung Fu Noodles and Dumplings. I'm not sure if it's a rebranding or if one noodle place closed and someone else thought that'd be a good place for a noodle shop. I'm not sure when it's opening or any details. I've just seen the old sign and photos of food go away and new sign go up.

Thanks for the interest. We do have a 95% final iteration. We are not ready to share specific items. We are willing however to share a fact sheet of "things we do".
Handmade fresh 7 inch tortillas that go straight from griddle to taco. They won't sit around like a tortilla machine or how some places let theirs sit before service.
Drive thru for convenience with 3 modes of access to the property, The southbound left hand turn off texas is dedicated with a median cut. Access is way more simple than several other very popular drive thrus in town.
Puffy tacos. The San Antonio classic.
Chargrilled meats. We have a hog of a chargrill and will cook the meats with care.
Breakfast tacos served all day. We have the standards plus a unique signature menu.
6am-10pm daily with the intent of eventually going 24 hours.
Robust catering.
A "choose your protein" section to go with our tacos classicos. You craft your taco with the style of set up and protein.

Stella Southern Cafe actually has the Banger Burger on the menu now. It's just called the 1802 Burger. Harvey Washbangers' address was 1802 Texas Ave. S.reineraggie09 said:Broncos said:reineraggie09 said:

If there is a Banger Burger involved, I am there.

JD Sports is coming to Post Oak Mall, you'd think if this mall was truly dying a major sports retailer wouldn't set up shop there.

Is it still there? I haven't been to the mall in maybe three years?

So, with the owner of the mall not wanting to invest, the local government wanted to step in, and that just made matters worse, IMHO.

I go to Murdoch's a fair amount but don't ever need to enter the actual mall to shop there.
I love an Ace Hardware but this one in College Station needs improvement. The lighting for one is horrible, staff not overly knowledgeable but I still keep going.MyNameIsJeff said:
I see Ace Hardware is having a grand re-opening this weekend due to new ownership. Anyone know anything about how that will impact Bear Mountain? I always wondered about its future after REI opened.
Never-the-less, the mall is not exactly an emerging retail utopia. I wish it was. I love malls. I'm a child of the '80s.cslifer said:
The whole chain went bankrupt, the location here closing had nothing to do with the mall.
