I'm familiar with the developer. Same guy building the apartments right behind this. I'll be surprised when construction actually starts.
Speculation is the already leased space is the developer or a realtor buddy.

I would be surprised to see a gas station there with one across the street and just up the road from the new TXB.
I wish TxB would have built right there instead.
I would bet TXB saved 6 digits in money by building where they did instead of near Fitch.

The Abuelo's in Lubbock way way better than the one here. Theone here was pretty good. The one in Lubbock was my fav restaurant there. Probably why they didn't succeed. So many restaurants struggle with quality in multiple locations.
