It's this crazy thing that many drive thrus have. An ordering station with a speaker.
I'll help you out. At their new location you order at the menu and speaker. It's on the back wall of the restaurant. You then have to drive around to the window to pay and pick up your order.
By all means keep doing it your way that lets the tacos sit a while and get soggy.

Always been a HUGE fan of the Shrimp and Grits (city) at Another Broken Egg. A while back I got hooked on the Louisiana Benedict off their seasonal fall menu. There was an item on that same fall menu that I had been tempted to try. But, always went with one of my other favorites. Today, I was talked into it. Really, really good. It is pictured with the shrimp and grits which I ordered as my entree. The bartender talked me into getting the corned beef and Brussels as a side. Kitchen accidentally gave me the full order.
