Checking into E is the new way to go. Literally no-one at security line at 7:10am this morning. Quick walk to train or to E terminal.

C was dead this morning too, but granted at 5am

If only you could control where you land. My wife came in at B last week. We didn't even know it was open. Probably shouldn't have been.
94chem,
That, sir, was the greatest post in the history of TexAgs. I salute you. -- Dough

If you're flying on a regional jet, 99% chance you're landing at B.

United has started flying some of the E175s out of C. Flew on one to Austin a little over a week ago.

Yep, I flew on one yesterday out of C.

Flew out of A this morning and parking garage was pretty empty. I even did a reservation for once, and the cameras reading your license plate are slick. Read it in a few seconds.

TSA pre-check line took 3 min.

Sticking with A and train until proves to be a mess otherwise. From A garage, it dumps you right out onto JFK which is where I need to go so super easy.

Anyone flying United tomorrow? I got stuck at Newark for 3hrs and they sent me a $15 voucher. I don't leave until Thursday and it expires tomorrow at midnight. Can text you the pic of the QR code.

You can use it as a credit card to put $15 on your Starbucks account..

Interesting…only Starbucks or does it work on other vendors? I don't ever go to Starbucks.

Got delayed 30 minutes out of Grand Rapids today and they blamed ATC. Just hoping we don't have to circle once we get there now

Sunday morning 8;30 drop off was great at terminal E. Zero traffic. Wife reported getting thru baggage and security in 5 minutes. Of course it's still under construction and the exit after passenger drop-off is an accident waiting to happen with multiple lanes converging to one lane.

The Will Clayton corridor in both directions was a Tine cess pool complete with trash, overgrown lots and unmowed areas. Got a big laugh at the homeless encampment at the light before Hwy 59. COH, please hire contractors and fire the city workers tasked with this job.

C was a ghost town Saturday afternoon. The weeks right after school starts, leading up to Labor Day weekend are the slowest weeks of the year for IAH.

IAH, SFO, RNO, PDX, and SEA were all very mellow this week. IAH CDE garage was pretty empty Monday and yesterday. Never had more than 2-3 folks in line at pre-check at any of the airports. Rental cars stacked up crazy everywhere but RNO (the "burners" were a sight to behold). Upgraded on 3/4 of my flights and I am not even 1K. Definitely the nicest part of the year to travel if you have to!

IAH, MSY, EWR, BOS so far this week and I'd agree the summer rush is over and it's just us bidness folks. Even United Club has been a pleasant experience at all locations.
BOS>ORD>IAH tomorrow so let's not do a victory dance just yet…

Couldn't get BOS direct back to IAH? I've had some rough delays in Chicago last few weeks

Normally yes but I squeezed a lunch in Chicago that most of the time would've been a separate visit just for the PQP

When is the construction supposed to be generally done? I know the real answer is never, but just some guidance here on when to expect a lull in construction related traffic until another bond passes and the airport gets expanded again.

Right after they finish the construction on the Gulf Freeway.

Flew out of IAH Terminal E on Thursday and back today. It was great. I showed up around noon, and there was literally no one in front of me at the regular security line and I walked straight to the counter. There was one woman walking through the scanner as I put my stuff in the bin. But zero wait.

Coming back, the exit was a little tricky. The hallway out was marked, but looked more like a mistake. But going down the hallway dumped you right at baggage claim and ground transportation.

I parked at a lot on Greens Road, and it was easy in and out, too. All in all, I was impressed.
