Another dumb question. My flight ended up being terminal C. How do I get to C from garage A/B with terminal B closed? Can I still access the subway?

Yes. But maybe not at B. A for sure

They have a shuttle bus that will take you. I have been walking to get more steps using the secret door by valet.

In Polaris Lounge and it is nuts to butts in here. Packed to the gills. The lane closures at B now down to one lane are backing it up and that traffic light was backing up through C. All in all a normal day at IAH, lol

Yeah got stuck at the traffic light for a while too, but was in A lounge today and basically had the place to myself, was quite nice

She-jack incidents are legendary
In May 1999, Jackson Lee had boarded a Continental flight out of Washington, D.C.'s Reagan National only to find that she had misplaced her purse.
The congresswoman proceeded to get off the flight to look for the bag back in the terminal, meanwhile the plane had left the gate with the missing purse on board.
According to aviation lobbyists that the Weekly Standard talked to, Jackson Lee demanded she be let back on the plane and didn't believe it was against Federal Aviation Administration regulation.
'She accused the gate staff of racism and demanded to see their supervisor, who was a black woman,' the Weekly Standard wrote. 'Her purse, meanwhile, was unceremoniously dropped out of the cockpit window and ferried back to her.'

That tracks. I heard that she made a staffer carry her purse and bags through airport for her, but refused to get the staffers security clearance so HPD would have to escort her staffers until she got on the plane then escort them out.
I have a congressional declaration that she presented to Nayeb Bukele that I found sitting on top of a trash can at terminal C baggage claim after returning from an international flight. I assume Bukele's people basically just didn't want it.Bondag said:aggiedata said:

Believe there's an Ag on here that travels extensively and was across from her on a 1st class flight. She tried to get him to move to economy so her assistant could sit across from her to discuss important legislative work. He told her to pound sand and got all huffy. Even tried to get the FA involved.
I think the most shocking part of this story is that SJL was presumably flying coach that day lol. From everything Ive heard about her, it seems like coach would be beneath her standards.wessimo said:Gaeilge said:Bondag said:aggiedata said:

A few years ago my wife was boarding a flight to DC and SJL was in my wife's assigned (aisle) seat. SJL was assigned middle. My wife made her move, which was apparently a big ordeal because SJL had spread her crap out everywhere. The flight was delayed and SJL kept pressing the call button demanding an explanation for the delay.
The story I was told by someone who worked for Council Member Larry McKaskle (across the hall from SJL) was SJL had a demand that a staffer meet her at the curb when she arrived at City Hall every morning with a fresh, hot cup of coffee, in her favorite mug. If the staffer wasn't there or the coffee was not fresh and hot, someone was getting fired. The thing was, she could arrive at any time between 7:00 AM and noon. It was the early 1990's before cell phones were really accessible, and long before texting was a thing, so her driver could not tip anyone off for her impending arrival time.Hwy30East said:
