And then there are days when you show up planning to do that and the traffic is backed up getting to C and it takes 45-60 mins from the time you park to the time the bus drops you off at the terminal. Goodness, I drive to the airport Park at the Spot JFK, ride to C, drop my bags, walk through security and head to where I need to go. Friday morning at 0730 I was in the front door, dropped 2 bags, and through security in under 15 minutes.

Pretty sure ALL of the "outside security" part of B is closed. Last time I flew into B, granted I had bags, we were directed over to C.
Yep, they ended up flying into A which was an easy pickup even with the road re-routes. The signage inside is bad, so it's hard to know whether they'll come out at departures upstairs or the North or South passenger pickup downstairs.
I'll be taking flights out of B terminal for the first time in several years over the next two weeks.
What's the best strategy these days? Park in A and tram over to B? One trip is for work where I will only have a carryon and the next trip is vacation with the family and will have checked bags and kids in tow.
Appreciate everyone's input in hopefully averting some disaster outside of my Hobby comfort zone.

I'll say the license plate reader at A was very efficient the other night. No more struggling with QR code or non-metal credit card.

Thought I had parking down to a science but question - have reservation for CDE parking like I always do for tomorrow. Website saying 99% full currently. Best bet is the roof on D? Can you change your reservation to A?
Flew through United domestic last week, no issues. TSA line was fast and limited issues with traffic.

Im done trying CDE. Back to AB I go. Seems the garage on CDE is partially under construction or something, then the valet levels… it is roof of Purple garage or else it seems.
Had a reservation for A/B garage today. Parking garage was completely full except for the roof on the B side. Thankfully the rain had stopped for my walk over to A, to take the stairs down to 7, to catch the elevator down, to go through TSA to take the skytrain back to B. The drive into the airport to find the terminal A parking has become a real adventure as well.
There's no way all of this is done by 2026.

An unauthorized vehicle accessed a service road at a cargo area at IAH. Ground stop started and sweep began. Vehicle left the secure area.
So a lost illegal Uber eats guy delivering the somebody's Popeyes chicken to a cargo terminal.

Came back last night, landed in B so I took the skyway to A…to discover the exit is now completely blocked on one side (I think the A1-15 side… by the Starbucks). So I had to walk back to the other side of A to exit, to take an elevator downstairs as the escalator was broken and blocked, to take the elevator up to level 7, to take the stairs to the roof, to walk to the B side of the A/B garage. 30 minutes to get from my gate in B to my car parked in the B garage.
I'm flying Southwest as much as I can at this point…iah is a disaster. Or I'll just Uber from now on.

Drop off is fine. Ride share pickup is an epic sh*t show.
