The last 2 weeks I've spent 9 nights in 4 cities that aren't Houston.

Delayed every single place I went. All 3 times arrived in Houston at least an hour and up to 5 after when I was scheduled.

Same. Had a weekend trip planned and travelled this week for work and ended up bypassing Houston instead of touching back for a night to repack due to weather and delays.

I'm here after coming in from COS trying to get to AUS. Seems like everyone's flights are delayed right now. Luckily looks like I'm only delayed ~30 minutes right now. Also, pretty blue skies out right now as well.

United Flight leaves out of B tomorrow. B lobby is closed. So I need to go to C for TSA the take the tram over to B gates?

Totally agree, flying the last few weeks has been an abject disaster no matter where.

Got notified this morning gate move to D2b. Took 2 minutes at 9 this morning to get thru TSA pre check. No traffic at all getting to Terminal C drop off.

Combined 3.5 hrs of tarmac time on the inbound and outbound this week. One runway closed outbound stacked us up, broken gate inbound. New record for me. Karen's screaming on the plane blaming United. Oh and of course the AC was keeping the plane a cool 84 degrees 100%rh the whole time. Summer travel sucks.

The weather this week has wreaked havoc on air travel. I've been doing this since the middle 90s and Tuesday afternoon/night in Denver and Oklahoma was some of the wildest I've ever known. 2 bits of pictorial evidence among many posted below.

TLDR: 21 hours, 2 ground stops in Denver, 2 flights (including diverted flight to OKC) and a 95 minute uber ride to get from SLC to crucial client meetings in Tulsa.

Yea....I would have held south of that crap weather, too. Systems have been wild. Tornados in Cleveland, which are apparently, according to locals, very rare.

Park at C, but make a reservation. Like, now. They were turning people away with no reservations the other day.

Flew out last Monday morning around 8am, parked at C with a reservation (plenty of spots on the upper levels), checked bags at C and through regular security in 20ish minutes. Flew back into E last night, immigration with MPC CBP was less than 5 minutes, bags waiting on the carousel. Got lucky, I guess, absolutely no traffic coming or going and smooth all the way around.

Don't waste time with the "oversized vehicle" parking though, regardless of apparent availability. Tried once, won't try again.

You can tram over to B from A only if you're not checking a bag.

Headed to Bush now. Stupid Delta somehow took my TSA pre number off of my profile and my BP printed without the logo. I went into my profile and re-added it, but the website and app keep giving me errors when I try to get a new one. I'm hoping I can print at a kiosk. I really don't want to have to take my shoes off.

Hoping to chill in the AmEx lounge before our flight.

In the past when I have had similar issues it was always on the boarding pass when I have had it reprinted at the kiosk. You can also ask them to add it on site if the app isn't cooperating.

Got a new boarding pass. But because it's an Airfrance flight, they made me weigh my carry on and personal item (no kiosk) and forced me to check my carry on. So I traded one inconvenience for another.

I should have known better on an EU carrier. Thankfully it's a direct flight.

AF is weird about weight unless you are in a premium cabin. Same on bag size. AFAIR, they didn't weigh our bag on our return flight from CDG, and they also allow two carryon bags plus a personal item.

We flew in from cayman yesterday around 6pm, and I can't complain.

Though customs in less than 5. Baggage was also less than 5.

Took the Johnny cab tunnel train to C from E and vehicle was waiting at valet.

They've finally figured out the new digital valet and it seems to be working well. Not even having to roll down your window because of the license plate scanner in or out is pretty convenient, even though big bro is watching.

Security back from cayman however was awful, it took 1.5 hrs, never been like that.

If she's checking luggage she may need to go to C. If just hit c garage.
