Honestly don't know, but I hope not. I can't find anything related to a terminal A North project.
Which is mildly infuriating.

Back at IAH and traffic is backed up for both A and CDE split on the main road. Cluster…
With all of that in mind, you should be fine. Just be sure to print your boarding pass at home.Sea Speed said:
I may need to take a quick flight to pick up a car and drive it home. How ******ed would I be to fly spirit to do this? It's cheaper by several hundred, non stop and I don't need to take anything more than a backpack with me.
I don't beleive you can put their boarding pass on an app or anything like that. It is print at home or pay $25+ at check-in. It is one of their ways to nickel-and-dime people to death with fees.Sea Speed said:
For real? Are they that antiquated? They don't do electronic boarding passes or do they charge for the convenience of using an app and/or charge for printing a boarding pass?

You can access your boarding pass on the Spirit app. There's no need for a paper boarding pass.

if you do go spirit, be sure to bring a shower cap or you'll be denied boarding. True story.Sea Speed said:
20+ years ago? Looks like I will be switching to a different airport anyways so may not matter.

Flying to Mexico on UA Monday. I'm assuming out of C, but don't know yet. I've been parking at A/B for everything the last few years. With everything going on regarding that garage, does it make sense to book direct at C now?

The hate for Spirit has less to do with their flight performance and more to do with their absurd nickel and dime price structure and the feral nature of most of their passengers.Petrino1 said:Sea Speed said:

If it's a direct flight, go for it. The hate for spirit is a little over the top. I've had bad experiences on all airlines. I've flown spirit a number of times and never had a bad experience with them other than a delay or two.

Are you guys checking bags going through A security but flying United? I was a longtime secret tunnel guy in B but it was for work and I never checked a bag. The transition to A isn't bad either but I'm going on vacation soon and actually have to check and am dreading this new experience. Do I just deal with C? International flight on United.
Edit I know I can't check my bag in A and have to ride the Disney train. Guess the question is which is less worse- C garage or Disney train?

I had a reservation for c yesterday and it was already to the roof. Security felt like a zoo at 0800 yesterday but PreCheck was still less than 10 minuets all the way through.

Yes but that wasn't my question. Is A parking and the Disney train better than other IAH parking if you have to check a back for United?

I thought the Disney train in the basement was down.
Sorry, I misread...I normally park offsite and take the shuttle just because I end up at a different terminal than I takeoff from quite a bit, it's normally quite easy and cheaperKaneIsAble said:
