I flew out of A last Friday for a 5am flight as well.

We were surprised how many were in the security line at 3:45 in the morning. But over all a breeze with parking at A/B garage.

I was there a couple of Fridays ago at 3:45am (for a 5am departure) and the security line was 45min long.

Thankfully they opened up the other side right when we got there which cut it down to less than 5 min.

Picked up my niece at IAH yesterday afternoon. City of Houston and Harris County have raped the taxes for an airport looks like pure s***. Terminal D still looks the same from when I worked there back in 2004. So what exactly are they fixing up and making look better. Might need an alignment just from driving into that mess.
Dead people are notoriously bad at returning calls.

My bag got gate-checked because I was running late for my flight yesterday morning. I waited for an hour to get my ****ing carry-on at the baggage claim. Others said they were waiting for over an hour.

Back today. Flight landed 20 min early at E, had to walk to baggage claim in C. Hopped on bus to eco park to grab car while wife grabbed bags. Other than eco park readers not accepting any of the reservation QR codes, we were in and out in 45 min from touch down. Crazy the eco park bus takes you to your car, which is great but also inefficient as hell just driving around 1 by 1…

We don't fly terribly often, certainly not with checked bags if it's just me on a hunting/fishing trip…it was an A+ considering the war zone of IAH. Never done eco park but other than a few minor hiccups, today was an absolute breeze

Live update: Terminal A security was a zoo at 5:45. Pre-chexk line was backed up to the check in area. I am departing out of C so decided to make my way there in the tunnel. Just missed the Disney train so hoofed it instead of waiting for the next one (which I just barely beat arriving at C). Minimal wait at the terminal C pre-check.

It seems like even at peak times, they have C staffed up with TSA now so I just take my chances there unless I'm flying out of A or B

Gawd. That would be awful. Where do you go? The garage? There isn't enough room right outside the terminal to congregate without standing in the road or pickup areas.

B or D? Googled it and looks like someone had a grenade that was de-activated as a novelty type item....

If I'm gone for more than two nights, Ubering is a no brainer with all the crap going on. Two days of parking is pushing $40-50 total these days and for an extra ~$25, you don't have to worry about having a few on the way home drinks on the flight.

Arrived mid afternoon via United and this was after the PDX carmaggedon that screwed us yesterday and made us miss our flight.

I would have been I-Rate had we missed 2 flights in a row.

We flew out on the 15th and got back last night. Had a garage reservation and everything went as smoothly as possible. I did notice the uber line was about 300 deep yesterday. That did not look fun.

City of Houston Democrats should be ashamed of the airport they run. The seats at terminal C were ugly, the food at el premio sucked, and my beef taco even had a Leaf in it!!! Additionally, the terminals and bathrooms were filthy dirty. The place looks like a third world country. Disgusting.

Landed at the Salt Lake City airport, which was very clean and so nice compared to Houston.
