Should have done this when Wemby had the clot. Fox needed surgery on his shooting hand when we traded for him. Spurs have won 4 game since Wemby went down, they would be 1 game out of 5th best odds without those wins

They are currently 9th from the bottom, and I can see them finishing 8th from last. They aren't "catching" Toronto for 7th worst no matter his hard the my try to Spur things.

We need Phoenix to get their act together - they could feasible finish as low as 10th from the bottom. They probable is they are finally all healthy and it's difficult to tank with KR, Booker and Beal all playing. They need to borrow the Spurs medical team for a month.

Toronto has won five of their last six. Spurs probably end up at 7th or 8th worst and Philly and Brooklyn will be too far off to catch. Toronto has the easiest schedule the rest of the season with only 2 of 16 games against teams above .500. Spurs would probably be in the mix with Brooklyn and Philly for 5 and 6 if they had put Fox on the shelf earlier, but the wins since Wemby went down probably makes that a road too far.


Phoenix has the hardest schedule left with an opponent win % of 59% - about same as a 50-win season. They don't have a single game left against any of the bottom 6 teams. Like I said a couple months ago now, I think Phoenix falls apart.

Rockets have the 17th SOS left with an opponent win% of .500. Only Dallas, OKC, and Minnesota have easier SOS left in the West.

Huge night for the Rockets, pulled out a win and the Bullets shocked the Nuggets.

Western Standings through 68 ish games

OKC 55-12
HOU 43-25
MEM 43-25
DEN 43-25
LAL 40-25
GSW 39-28
MIN 39-29
LAC 37-30


A week ago the Lakers were #2 before the LeBron injury. Now they've lost 4 in a row while the Rockets have won 6 straight and both the TWolves and Warriors have won 7 in a row. Somehow the Lakers have played 3 fewer games than almost everyone else.
Lakers have a pretty brutal schedule the rest of the way including Denver and Milwaukee next week, then @ Indiana, @ Memphis, home for the Rockets, home for the Warriros, and then 2 straight at OKC somehow between Mar 29 and April 8.
