Just picked up a ticket for Game 1 on Sunday and I am stoked.
Rockets haven't been in the playoffs since 2020 which was the bubble year so they haven't hosted a playoff game since game 6 of the second round in 2019.

I saw the Rockets play 6 times in the playoffs in 1997 when a buddy of mine worked for the team, including the Game 7 vs Seattle, the Eddie John miracle 3 pointer, and that rat basterrrd John Stockton knocking the Rockets out of the playoffs.
I've been to one post-season game since, in '08 vs Utah when they lost a 6-game first round clunker to Utah to end a season where they also won 22 games in a row. weird times

Rockets biggest need is a go-to scorer to close out games. KD isn't the ideal solution at 37 but probably the most realistic target. Would a package of FVV, Tari, and this year's first rounder be enough to make it happen? If not, Rockets could also add Whitmore.
Bring back Adams and sign a FVV replacement, and it would be hard to shoot holes in the roster. I wonder if CP3 would be doable (signed with SA for 1 year and 11M last offseason).

What's everyone's thoughts on the matchup? I have PTSD from Curry torching us over the years in the playoffs. Also Playoff Jimmy could be scary. We clearly need to push the pace and try to wear them down over the length of the series. I think we win but it's going to be a hard fought series.

Is Booker even really an upgrade from Green? Seems marginal and Green is still young enough to basically develop into the same guy.
Booker is much better than Green currently, but Greens ceiling is much higher than Booker
