I'm going to be that guy - series is over.
If you let Draymond with 5 fouls enter the game at 7:30 left and completely change your offense to not challenge him, you will not win.

The worst possible match up for this young team. And it has shown the last two games. What I dreaded most.
And that outta do it. Vegas knows stuff. Only second 2 seed to ever be an underdog and we are seeing why. Just hit your fts like an avg nba player does and we win by 5

It's not just Alpy - no one went after him. Amen didn't get a ball going these the basket once Draymond came back in.
Edit for he got one ball where he stopped and popped a bank shot and then never got the ball again going to the hoop.
So glad I stayed up for that

The missed FTs were absolutely killer. But Jalen Green sold once again. This team was only going to go as far as Jalen went and he's gone nowhere. Just a complete embarrassment this series outside of 1 night

It's more to me you let Draymond dictate your offense to end the game. You stopped backing him down until the last play and never really put any pressure on him.
Jalen sucked, but you never even tried to force the issue. You have a strength offensive rebounding the ball, and you don't attack and crash to make Draymond decide which to cover for a full 7:30 at the end of the game.

I know you can say we stay away from Green, but the refs were never going to foul him out. He completely bodies people every time they are near him, why would we keep going it there if they allow that. Alpy got bodies on his last shot too and no call
Nobody will WANT Jalen. Stone has to get creative to dump him, but it can be done. Brooks has two years left on his deal and that's fine. I'd move Jalen and let FVV walk. Then bring in a legit superstar via FA or trade to pair with the youngsters.

So you're just going to not challenge him with 7:30 left in the game? You HAVE to challenge him. You have an offensive rebound advantage and have to put him in positions to test how physical he actually wants to be to risk a foul. You have to put pressure on the referees to call it.
I'm pissed at Ime. We were pounding them with the double big and they went Hack-a-Adams and Ime blinked. That lost us the game right there. Our points per possession was no better than Adams going 1 for 2 for the next two minutes and it killed our defense.

Yep. Coach is a giant puss. This series has proven that.
Go look at their social media posts right when the game ended. Nothing but praise for him. Tells you all you need to know. This league is a joke. It's WWE level entertainment only.
Also, GS has fully adopted the college strategy of hacking and pushing players every time they touch the ball. Refs refuse to call it. We should be doing the same thing but have a soft ass coach.

On the night we finally blanket Curry and he shoots air ball after air ball, a total scrub finds his stroke. But that shouldn't have mattered. The game came down to once again, Golden State dictated the physicality and thus was allowed to get away with heavy contact on every play. Couple tgat with Green no showing and Ime abandoning a winning strategy in the exact manner Kerr wanted, and that was the game.
Coaching matters. And we're stuck with a fake tough guy who disappears in the playoffs, same as his apparent star player.

So the solution is to allow the other team to dominate you physically to the point where you settle for jump shots? Nah. We did great in the first half not backing down. Refs even got the calls right. Then we pussed out.
We don't have gs in the front of the jerseys. If we more physical than we already are I don't see how they don't call more fouls on the rockets. Only one wat to find out I guess

I tend to agree with this. The biggest piece of evidence being the 3 free throws jimmy butler got for a light tap on the stomach.Ags #1 said:

Well when your coach just takes calls like that like a *****, they keep calling them. Want to change things? Start raising hell every single time they stick their hand in rockets stomach when bringing the ball up the court. Get a tech. Throw a fit. But things won't change if you just sit back and take it like a little *****. Warriors are good on defense because they are allowed to be more physical and everyone just takes it. Why is Draymond so successful? He literally plays his role. It's an act. He's the enforcer. We have an enforcer in Brooks and our coach cuts hit nuts off and demands he play nice. Instead of getting dumb fouls, Brooks should be getting fouls for falling on guys and slamming their head in the ground with his foot and then acting like it was part of his fall.
I think Udoka knows this series was not winnable. Between the refs and the Warriors' experience, this is a seasoning experience. Everybody but Adams and VanVleet has played scared just bout every night. When Sengun is under pressure he is just throwing the ball at the rim. I hope they lock up Adams for as long as he wants to be in the league, because that guy clearly gets what the playoffs are and rises to the occasion.
I don't think the foul on Butler should've been called based on how the entire playoffs have been officiated. Saying that, I'd love to see the 2 min report to see if they have any comments on Sengun's last shot. Looks pretty similar to the Butler play…
I feel like an idiot for thinking we had a chance in this series. Our inability to score and the NBA deciding the Warriors need to be in the next round no matter what are insurmountable hurdles.
I'm just frustrated that Brooks was called for a foul on a play that in no way affected the shot. Butler went straight up and down and there was zero motion of his body beyond what would have happened if he had been standing there alone.
Of course the Rockets easily could have won the game with a good final possession. Not sure why you want Alpern on the dribble there. Post him up where Draymond can't guard him without fouling out and when he gets doubled, have the open guy take a three. i
