Allie reaches 1st on an infield single

KK doubles to right field, Allie stops at 3rd.

Runners at 2nd and 3rd with Gracyn at bat

Gracyn pop foul on a squeeze play - 2 outs.

Wild pitch moves runners, Allie scores and KK moves to 3rd

Kramer draws a walk, runners on 1st and 3rd.

KP infield single KK scores, Kramer to 2nd

Amari drops a bloop single into center and Kramer scores KP to 3rd

Pitching change for PV, 5 runs in for the Aggies so far - 2 outs and Mya is up

Mya grounds out to first to end the inning.

Leavitt goes 3 - 0 on the next batter and then strikes her out - 1 down

Fly out to left and it is Kelsy Mathis out there with the catch for out #2

Runner steals 2nd, but was a great throw by Mac

Leavitt with another 4 pitch walk, runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs.

Ground to KK at short flips to Amari for the 3rd out.

Kelsey singles to right field and Mac moves to 2nd, 2 on and no outs

Scout in to hit, gets hit and that loads the bases for KK

KK draws and RBI walk as Mac scores and everyone else moves up one bag

Kelsey scores on a wild pitch, other runners move up a base

Kylie has a SAC fly to shallow right Scout scores

Frankie flies out to center - out #2

Larisa Perez up to bat now with KK on 2nd

KK gets 3rd base on a wild pitch

Larisa draws a walk runners on the corner with Amari up to bat

Amari flies out to center to end the inning

Barbara's homer almost hit the building on the fly. In the last 16 games 22 players saw action including 5 pitchers and a lot of ABs for players who normally don't bat.

Without looking it up I think 6 pitchers saw action in that time

Would be nice if Sidne was available this weekend. I have assumed they were letting her rest/rehab since her spectator outing against Bama.

Seems like Grace may have been away on personal trip over the LMU weekend. Good to see her get action today

Lefty still seems to be going easy on whatever is going on with leg/ankle. She was great on Sunday so I would expect her to be on her usual Game 1 & 3 rotation this weekend but we need everyone ready to step up if she can't complete those games

Sidney was pretty off over the weekend but looked like she found her way back today.

Kate is still developing her game but I would be confident in making somewhere between an inning and 1 time through a SEC lineup

Emily is an wildcard to me. Trisha really talked her up after the fall. Some outings we have seen that growth others seem like she still lacks the command of her full array of pitches

This week has been good for the offense to gain or regain confidence. If we can get 3 days of good pitching we can steal back a game in the standings. With as tight as the standing look now even one extra win could mean a 4 or 5 place jump at the end of the season

Reading your post again I think you may have meant of 6 games instead of 16 which makes the 5 pitchers correct. I mistype all the time so no judgement on my part other than on me for not thinking critically to a poster who a long history on the softball threads

Georgia played sloppy at times, cost them runs. Hit the ball hard, though. Saw three pitchers we will probably see. Started their third most-used pitcher, then second and then their most-used pitcher. They gave up 5 BB, 1 WP and 3 HBP with 6 SO. Mercer made some great plays on defense, saved runs, and had clutch hits when they needed them. On screen at end of game, about Mercer's win - "First win over top 25 opponent since April 2018 vs #5 Georgia". How about THAT?

Interesting note

#17 Stanford scored a run in the bottom of the 10th to defeat St. Mary's College 5-4. At Stanford. Coach Ford is a graduate of St. Mary's and her first head coaching job was there.

Stanford scored 4 runs in the bottom of the first and were then shut out until the 10th.

I did mean these last 6 non-conference games. I'm sure the coaches hoped to play a lot of players. It was disappointing to see the Prairie View pitchers walking batters the last inning. I wanted to see the non-starters swing the bat.
