Ok, this is nonsense. I'm not sure what happened, but I am assuming that the left never released the Epstein files while they were in power, because it would implicate a ton of them. But they had to know that Trump would release them when he got into office, so they probably fudged the data to falsely implicate Trump or his allies so that he would also refrain from releasing it. He and his family would have NEVER been so brash about promising to release it if he was potentially in it ( or if he'd known they doctored it). So, he gets into office and sees what they've done and stupidly took the position of "well, I can't release this now, because I'm in it and no one is ever going to believe me when I say it's a hoax, so I guess I'll just slow play until everyone forgets about it and let it lay in secret."

But the uproar was much more than he expected, so now he knows he's going to have to release it, but is poisoning it and steering the narrative ahead of time that it's been doctored, so that when he does finally release it, he can say "see"!

Which scenario do folks here believe:

1) Trump and Katel and Biondi etc. have criminal evidence of powerful people who were in a 'pedo ring' led by Epstein and are knowingly covering it up. That is, Trump, Katel, Biondi are all immoral and evil people.

OR

2) There is some evidence which, while not sufficient for any sort of criminal prosecution, might embarrass some powerful people or governments. Which Trump, Katel, Biondi, etc. are thus not throwing out there to the public.

I 100% think it is the latter case. And while I am amused and entertained by all the drama and squirming surrounding the Epstein topic, it is not something I'm going to get 'angry' about.

The entire argument hinges on a "list" which is a red herring. The video, hard drives, audio, etc is the real smoking gun so why the focus on a list? Of all the stuff that has seemingly bounced off Trump's Teflon armor the past 12 years...to say 'He will never recover from this'...that this will finally be the thing that pierces his political armor...is a very bold statement. I think it is more likely this is just another arrow that eventually goes 'zing' off his breast plate into the bushes. Maybe hitting somebody like Biondi standing over by those bushes as collateral damage but barely a nick on Trump himself.

"Twitter in meltdown mode" is irrelevant. It always is.

You can't do 2 without tying it to Epstein. For example, take the scenario that Epstein story does go away and the economy crashes next summer. Republicans will lose both, but you can't logically tie that to Epstein, agree?

On July 10th, Alex Acosta at a presser refuses to address his own claim he was told Epstein was a Intel asset. He said, "I cant address that due to DOJ guidlines". Case closed.

On July 23rd, Epstein was found beaten, semi-conscious, with strangle bruises. That orignal cell footage was confirmed to exist, before it was lost, the backup file was also lost due to "technical errors". The feds cleared his cell mate of wrong doing. Case closed.

On Aug 10, Epstein was found dead in his cell. That footage "malfunctioned" and the outside SHU entrance had a minute missing. Case closed.

But neither is this a hoax.

This issue goes beyond all that. There are millions of Americans who overwhelmingly voted for you to be OUR President, and we want you to be massively successful. No one more than me. Personally, I still have a target on my forehead. I know that but, like you, I still fight.

Beyond all that, OUR country is facing a level of internal subversion and it is a relentless attack on the very foundation of our constitutional republic. If you're not successful, our country may not survive. It is that extreme of a situation we currently face. Read Lincoln's Lyceum speech of 1838. He knew, as you know (and as we all can see with our very eyes), our nation will not die from a foreign foe, NEVER, if we die, it will be by our own suicide.

There is an ongoing undermining by subversive elements inside and outside the USG. That is the essence of the deep state.

All we want at this stage is for a modicum of trust to be reestablished between our federal government and the people it is designed to serve. That's all (PERIOD!).

If he were part of an intel operation known or run by our CIA (shame on them) and those responsible MUST be held accountable. If there is another country involved, then shame on them as well. Am I the only one that doesn't understand what Trump is referring to when he says "Epstein Hoax"?

What part of this is he considering to be a hoax? He's comparing it to Russiagate, etc which would make it seem that he's claiming him being on the list is a hoax. But him being on the list is certainly not what his supporters who are asking for transparency are claiming. The transparency that he of course promised including after being sworn in. I also tend to agree that if there was any sort of evidence against Trump it would have been released already to hurt him, potentially even during his first term.

I would say it makes some sense if there's actually no evidence on anyone because it got destroyed during the transition - but unless I've missed it Trump and Bondi haven't really made that claim. If this was what happened, you'd think they would then prosecute the destroyers of evidence if it was done specifically for the purpose of furthering what is at this point an obvious cover up.
