If the "Epstein Files" were just about a bunch of sexual misconduct allegations with limited credibility, they could just call up Massie and let him take a look, so he would back down.

The last thing they want is a libertarian finding out about the feds financing intel ops and securing international favors/fixes via Epstein.

To add: Epstein got his in at Bear Sterns begging a parent to make an introduction. Epstein had a knack for forcing himself into introductions. We all know people like that, and we all know you don't do business with guys who act like that. I do not recall Trump doing business with him, but would need to check.

The photo is from 30+ years ago. Both were rich New Yorkers, and rich New Yorkers hang out in the same circles.

This story isn't about Trump. It's about how the government was involved with Epstein and doing international business to benefit the USA. It just turns out that Epstein was running a sex trafficking ring with the fortunes he made from huge deals involving our government and Intel agencies, as well as Israel's government.

Trump was definitely friends with Epstein through his NYC relationships, and the Democrats now want to make this about Trump, but by most acounts many other past government officials were involved to a much greater extent than DJT with Clinton being the main one and several Israel dignitaries. Epstein had influential connections across the globe.

I agree, he wasn't some comic book villain. He was just a college drop out who managed to get hired as a math teacher at a prestigious school whose headmaster was former intelligence, then after getting fired as a teacher he managed to get a job at Bear Stearns helping the rich avoid taxes, then after getting fired from that job he managed to start his own firm where he landed the Iran-Contra middleman Adnan Khashoggi.

Either that dude had government intelligence help (which is why the govt doesnt want the full release of their files) or he managed to pull a Kliff Kingsbury and fail upwards into every job he had.

I'd forgotten the airline Epstein and Werner worked to move to Columbus, OH was the airline that employed the entire family of the Founders. It was also the airline involved in Iran-Contra.

His mathematical abilities allowed him to be super pervy, but he was just a normal dude that met with White House Counsel, the current CIA Director, the current and former Prime Ministers of Israel, and the current and former Presidents of the United States.
