There's already an Asian place that has permits to be located there.
It just made me so sad to see this morning. Since my washer broke, we've been washing our clothes there. Everyone has always been so friendly, and the food is good. I know they support our local theaters, too, and they seem like all-around good folks. I hope they can recover.JMac03 said:

How often do places burn down here? Seems like we have many.
1993, coffee machine. It wasn't a total loss, but the interior had to be rebuilt.MD20/20 said:I knew it was gone but never knew it burned. When did that happen?Dustoff00 said:

Kitchen fires are somewhat common. How many have we really had recently?
Krispy Kreme was arson so I wouldn't count it. It was almost a year ago.
Chicken Oil was almost 3 years ago.

That doesn't seem that many to me considering the number of restaurants here.
I'm just comparing it to other places I've lived. I can't remember a restaurant burning down anywhere I've lived but I've known many here.trouble said:

Was Seafood Mamas where Fish Daddy's is ? Because that one definitely burned and was rebuilt.
Rockfish became Fish Daddy's. You're thinking of Bonehead's, which was near Atami.EBrazosAg said:
So what was the name of Fish Daddy's before the fire? I thought Rockfish was up by Solt on University at Tarrow
No, they relocated to the strip center behind the College Station Walmart. I get breakfast from there several times each week. Best place in town!Quote:
Did Garpez close?
Fajita Rita's had long closed before the fire. It wasn't an operational restaurant by the time it burned down (due to lightning strike). I didn't include it my list because of that.BQ_90 said:
Did fajita Rita's burn down or was that after it was vacant

You misspelled Jose's on Harvey.

OG was like 20 years ago.
GCS was arson.
