All good. I heard the rumor about the cash running out a few months ago. I checked back and asked the husband of the original source just to confirm and it was fake news. I'm guessing what he told me probably jives with what you know.

Is Mojo Taco open yet?
The sign out front says coming Summer 2025. Summer technically starts July 1st. I guess they have until September 30th to open and keep their promised time frame. I'm guessing one of the owners will pop in here soon and give us an update.JMac03 said:AggiePhil said:

No

I would venture that it does not make sense to open too early in the summer due to lack of traffic. I would think they want to open several weeks before the start of the semester to work out all the kinks though...
The original is even creepier.FlyRod said:
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who found their sign deeply troubling.
Lunch at Mr. Hamburger...FlyRod said:
I'm friends with the frontman of Deep Blue Something. He grew up in Huntsville and would sing the praises of the original Mr. Hamburger. He was super excited when they opened one here.

Shopping malls like that are a dying breed, I would assume the owners are hoping for someone to come along that wants to buy the property to knock it down and do something else with it.
Pretty sure they said outright they were getting substantially lower rent than the rest of the market.wehnerhigh20 said:
Harry's was pretty much always packed, had concerts all the time, and it was literally just a warehouse with a bar, feel like the expenses couldn't be too terribly high.

Sorry if this has been posted, but I don't recall seeing it here.
New laundry business in that new development at Texas and 2818 just north of Midas. Looks like a franchise.

Tai is a good guy and an asset to the community. Why the snark? It's his money.Broncos said:
So another failed Chef Tai restaurant so he can open another project?

Kanji is doing fine and I'm guessing Urban Table is though it's not my jam. Still has his food truck. Knowing what I do about restaurants his batting average is higher than many.
Anyway I wish him well and look forward to learning more about what's to come.

Yep, we need another coffee place to go along with the plethora of chicken strip and nail salons!
I personally love it. Now if we could get Lamppost Coffee here, my life would be completeTXAGBQ76 said:
I'm just kidding. Seems like the goal is to get a coffee place on every corner.
PJs's has something all those other coffee places don't. Beignets. That's enough to get me in the door at least once.TXAGBQ76 said:
