Oh and I love Boots Dewberry soda

Unless they have changed, their tortillas were always bad, which ruins the taco, no matter what the ingredients are.

KidDoc and I enjoyed the Sunday brunch at DeBaca today but there were more staff than diners there. They have all the staples like pastries, fruit, sausage, pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, and eggs benedict plus drink specials if you wanted at least four mimosas or bloody mary's for your table.
It was all delicious but my favorite item was the prime rib. They also had more elaborate breakfast foods like stuffed French toast and they had lunch items available such as Dijon chicken, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, and salad.
Like I said, everything we tried was good so I don't know if people don't know about it or if the price point is too high for brunch but we were one of four tables occupied in there at 12:45 Even if we repeat, we won't go more often than once every 3 months or so. Our total for two buffets, an iced tea, and a mimosa was $104 after tax but before tip. The food and service is fantastic but most people can't pay that much on the regular for brunch.

Boots is great. I think Torchy's serves it (or did).

Marfa Texas Kitchen has been a favorite of ours but we will never be back. Saturday at 10:30 AM the place was empty. Literally empty. Because it was graduation, they would only let us order off the dinner menu not the brunch menu not the lunch menu. The dinner menu isn't something you would want at that time of day.
First off it is Summer graduation not Spring and not even Fall.
You are not anywhere near campus.
You didn't have anyone in the restaurant and had zero reservations.
We pride ourselves on trying to keep the good small businesses going when we do eat out but I will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

"Unique" often struggles in a place where the "familiar" is the consistent money maker.

Trackside Kolache and Pizzarama last night.
It was tasty!

We love Trackside and have always had great interactions with the staff, mornings and evenings. Our orders are to-go, but to-go can be as close as the Holleman Tavern, where we have brought our pizza and had some cold beverages.
We also like their pizza rolls, where you can craft your own stuffings.

You bring your pizza into the Tavern?

I miss the old menu as well. At least they are still doing wine dinners.
