Unpopular opinion but that gray 2000s jersey with the brick red is amazing

I was about to ask where that came from. Only rumor I had seen about him was that maybe he wasn't excited about potentially coming to the Astros.

I think the story was he made it known to the Padres front office that he did not want to be traded to Houston. I don't think it was ever said that he was a clubhouse cancer. That being said, if he was against the trade at the deadline, I don't see why he'd want to come in free agency.

Money, and actually getting to talk to people face to face during free agency versus GMs haggling during the deadline are definitely different. I can see minds changing after meeting people in person. Who knows if Crane will take an active role in a guy like Cease as he reportedly was for Hader.

Maybe that's all it was, but it seemed fairly extreme like he did not want to come to Houston period. But money talks. I just don't think I'd want to pursue him if that was his attitude.

I also think that he's going to cost way more than what he's actually worth. I'd rather have Framber back than get Cease, if we are talking about a similar cost (which we probably aren't).

I believe whoever signs Cease will ultimately come to greatly regret that contract.

Here we go. MLB is about to go kaboom. Not just betting on games but actively involved in racketeering and money laundering. These won't be the only guys.

No doubt in my mind that games are being rigged across sports.

All of sports are having this come up. With DraftKings being in bed with ESPN and being actively promoted with sports, the hypocrisy is staggering.

But some guys with trashcans are the real problem with the sport. They should be executed, one and all.

This is just a minor blip.
