The only bad thing is that we didn't trade him back in March or April...probably could have gotten more. Now we just have to root for the Packers to lose as many games as possible. The NFC North will be a dogfight!

The Packers just signed him to a new deal last season. He's under contract thru 2027.

Great player, but there is a lot of value to be created here, and Jerry appears to have done so...

I'm certainly not a Jerry apologist...however, do those complaining about him being trading think matching $47M per year was a good idea? Seems like a "can't win" scenario for the Jones's in this case.

I don't want to be that guy, but a lot of us here are "ball-knowers", and ball knowers understand that paying a tweener LB 47 million per year who is often battling injuries, disappears late in the season, and is immature, isn't a good idea. Yes he's a generational pass rusher, but that is all he does. And we just got a pro-bowler at our biggest area of need and draft capital to FINALLY go get a QB for the last years of Daks contract.

I don't think it's a good contract either, but the rest of their cap is in a vastly different position to handle it for the foreseeable future

Haha very true. Getting Clark helps but Jerry is absolutely horrible on valuing draft picks. Two late round 1st rounders is HORRIBLE.

The GB game was the first time many of us said "Trade Parsons". He was one of many absent players on defense they allowed Jordan Love to go up and down the field before our offense could take a breath.

Ironic that's now the team that has given us exactly what we needed and overpaid Micah... And by overpaid I mean holy balls... 47 Million!
