it's good to play the Titans

Finally connecting on some downfield throws. The throw to Collins on 2nd and 33 seemed to wake the offense up.

It's the Titans, granted, but good to finally see some success taking some shots.

Marks, goodness...have yourself a day, young fella.

First shutout since 2010.

Marks should start until Mixon returns.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

Recipe for wins this season, ride the defense and score 2-3 on offense.

I was encouraged with the offense in the fourth quarter. They looked much better and not pressing like early in the game.

As cagey as they have been about his injury, I think it's an open question whether he ever suits up for this team again.

He's clearly out for the season since they won't answer any questions about him. He has one more year on his deal so if we cut him after the season we save $8.5 million.

https://overthecap.com/player/joe-mixon/5634

We also converted part of CGJ's salary to a 6.58 million signing bonus a few weeks ago which is pretty funny when you cut him three weeks later. That's one way to light McNair's money on fire. We get a sweet 5.6 million dead money cap hit next season too.

Somehow Caserio parlayed trading unplayable players with the Eagles into an otherwise unnecessary cap hit, 3 TDS in blown coverages, and a locker room cancer that necessitated cutting. The Eagles wisely took their cap savings and just painlessly cut KG before the season started.

Caserio has to go.

We all need a slump buster from time to time.

Yes, but the Texans D is better. Ridiculous that we lost that game.

Prediction. Still early season, so they'll sit Lamar. We're not exactly a great team right now, so there is decent chance Cooper Rush pulls this off at home. Derrick Henry needs a slumpbuster in the worst week, speaking of it. Depleted defense so maybe C.J. can build off of this week, but I don't think the Ravens are too worried. They're 1-3 is different than our 1-3.

Coming back from the half, the video was on the commentators, and it looked like the side they were showing was barely full. Is attendance really low, or was everyone just hitting up the concession stands?

Always looks like that coming out of halftime. The Club seats are the most prominent from that view and they pretty much clear out for HT and then arrive back a few minutes late.

Good. Ersery has been getting better and I believe earlier in the year Robinson only wanted to be a starter. Maybe this propels Ersery forward a little bit.

You think not having competition is what's going to push him?

And we're already getting Stroud killed as it is. Now, that chance goes up considerably more if there's an injury on the line. Decimating the depth of an already weak line for a late round pick swap doesn't seem like a good trade to me.

I hope that was more about dumping his $14 million on the cap this year and getting someone that can be useful....really really hoping! Like all my fingers and toes crossed hoping

I think if it's the wrong type of competition then it's addition by subtraction. Texans have shown a precedent of cutting bait with someone if they're not viewed as good for the team.

My point is that if Robinson was not good in the locker room because he only wants to start at LT and was beat out by a rookie and if he's pouting about it, better to get something for him.

Trent Brown is also "close" from what I've heard, so there's the depth.

Texans Bingo Update 9-29-25

A lot of people picked up some points last night thanks to Micah Parsons' very late game sack, and everyone give it up for

jackal99

who picked up two squares on the same Sunday by picking Parsons and a Texans' shutout, good stuff. Only he and WES2006AG picked the Texans to have a shutout on defense this year, that ties the two of them for first place with 3 squares each along with myself, Snake Jazz, and. AlwaysNextYear89.

Here's the spreadsheet if you want to see how you're doing or remember if you're even in this thing.

By virtue of the team actually doing some stuff on offense, we've got Nico up to a 1,105 yard pace, just ahead of his 1,100 square and Schultz up to a 68-catch pace, his square is 56.

The Jags and Colts are both still on pace for 13 wins, u and the Cowboys are up to 4, and the Titans still at 0.

Mike Evans and Von Miller didn't play yesterday, hurting their individual stat paces. Myles didn't get a sack for the first time this year. Achane is lagging his rushing square (850) by more than 200 yards at this point.

The "Pick the Leader" stat part of the game is really tight.
Goff leads Mayfield by just 25 yards passing, and Henry, Robinson, and Jeanty are all within 22 yards of each other rushing the ball. Robinson is the leader there.

Lamar is first to 10 TD passing but might miss the game next week (please do) while James Cook is up to 5 rushing TD in 4 games.

Justin Jefferson had a big game receiving yesterday - 126 yards - so Chase will need 85 tonight to keep pace.

Last year at this point in the season, the Texans were 3-1 with a negative point differential. This year they are 1-3 with a positive point differential.

I'll just blame the losses on CJ Gardner-Johnson

That's an eye opener. If we could figure out the other guard spot, and if Ersery progresses, then there's a chance (albeit slim) that we could turn this around.

It's possible one of his misses just happened to be one of those plays. The post doesn't state he was perfect.

Well I was too dumb to realize the Dolphins hadn't played until last night. Achane's big night - 99 yards and a TD have his Bingo #s way up to on pace for 1,046 yards and 13 TD.

I hope the Texans understand the enormous opportunity in front of them if Lamar Jackson really sits out. A win that most everyone surely thought of as a loss when they looked at the calendar before the season replaces one of the losses you had early to start the season 0-3. Plus you push Baltimore a little further down to 1-4 and have a tie-breaker against them at some future wild card intersection. If the playoffs started today, both the 2-2 Bengals and 2-2 Chiefs are in, so the Texans are hardly out of the race, but after Baltimore is the bye week, then a very not-easy swing at Seattle and home for San Fran and Denver and Jacksonville.
